Jutta und Peik waren sehr zuvorkommend und gaben mir den Raum, mich anzupassen und mich zu entspannen. Ihr Haus ist reizvoll und ihre Hunde sind so süß. Die Arbeit war wie erwartet und angenehm. Ich habe viel über die finnische Kultur gelernt und wo man die besten Wanderungen findet. Nicht jeder Tag war einfach, aber ich bin durch das, was ich von ihnen gelernt habe, zu einer besseren Person geworden. Vielen Dank!

Mein Aufenthalt zu Hause war ein absolutes Vergnügen!! Jutta und Peik gehören zu den liebenswertesten Menschen, die es gibt, und sie sind auch zwei Doggos. Sie haben mich mit offenen Armen und einem offenen Herzen willkommen geheißen. Die Unterkunft war schön, warm, sauber und gemütlich. Die Innen- und Außenaufgaben waren leicht zu verstehen und vielfältig. Eines meiner liebsten Erlebnisse überhaupt!💐✨️

Definitely an experience to repeat. Jutta and Peik are very nice and friendly people, we were very comfortable at all times and it was great to get to know the local life the home, they really make you feel at home. The work is very flexible, which gives you time to visit, rest and have a good time with them as well. Kiitos for all!!🥰🥰

Jutta and Peik are exceptional hosts! From the very first moment they made us feel at home, offering us a comfortable and cozy space. They are incredibly kind and flexible, always willing to adapt to our needs. We shared fun moments, from escapades in nature with their beautiful dog to the opportunity to try typical Finnish dishes. Undoubtedly, a wonderful experience that I would repeat without hesitation and recommend to anyone.😊

Our stay with Jutta and Peik provided many valuable experiences. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, learned about the culture, and appreciated the collaboration. In the beginning, we felt welcomed and were excited about the tasks. Over time, we encountered some challenges with communication, as instructions were sometimes unclear or came quite late, which made it harder to complete our work efficiently. Toward the end of our stay, the atmosphere felt more distant, and we felt less included. We value the experience, clearer communication and openness would enrich future collaborations.

Wir geben unser Bestes, klare Anweisungen zu Beginn des Aufenthalts bereitzustellen, und bemühen uns, täglich mit unseren Freiwilligen zu kommunizieren. Das ist jedoch eine Einbahnstraße; wir erwarten, dass Sie bei Unklarheiten Fragen stellen. Wir verstehen, dass Schüchternheit, begrenzte Sprachkenntnisse oder junges Alter Auswirkungen haben können, und aus Rücksicht auf Ihren Komfort haben wir uns dazu entschlossen, Sie nicht dazu zu drängen, mehr zu sprechen. Wir sind jedoch wirklich überrascht zu hören, dass Sie die Anweisungen als unklar empfanden.

Our stay with Jutta and Peik had both positive and challenging aspects. We felt welcome at first, enjoyed the beautiful location, and appreciated experiencing a new culture. However, communication was sometimes unclear, and instructions often came too late or were vague, which made the work harder. Towards the end, we felt less welcome, which affected the atmosphere. Still, we're grateful for the experience and believe it could be improved with clearer guidance and a more open approach.

Vielen Dank für das Feedback. Es tut uns wirklich leid, dass Ihre Freiwilligenerfahrung nicht Ihren Erwartungen entsprochen hat. Wir tun unser Bestes, klare Anweisungen zu Beginn des Aufenthalts zu geben und eine tägliche Kommunikation mit unseren Freiwilligen aufrechtzuerhalten. Das ist jedoch eine Zwei-Wege-Straße. In Zukunft empfehle ich Ihnen, Fragen zu stellen, wenn etwas unklar ist, Ihre Bedenken dem Gastgeber während Ihres Aufenthalts mitzuteilen, da wir hier sind, um zu helfen! Ich empfehle auch höflich, etwas Zeit mit der Gastfamilie zu verbringen. Ich wünsche Ihnen alles Gute!

I can only say that the days I spent with Jutta and Peik were great. Both are very welcoming and attentive. I learned a lot from them about Finland, I had good recommendations on places to visit. I learned recipes for delicious and typical Finnish foods.I had full guidance on the work to be carried out and I hope I completed it satisfactorily.My favorite job was raking the autumn leaves that never stopped falling (I'm serious).The days spent there allowed me to get to know the Finnish way of living.I loved discovering glögi. I'll miss it when mine ends.I really felt at home with Jutta and Peik

It was a great experience. Jutta and Peik are amazing people. They are uplifting happy people who made me fell comfortable, welcomed and respected at all times. The chores for volunteering were fair and flexible, and they kept communication open and clear. The place is beautiful and they also helped a lot with recomendations for visiting places a around Helsinki and even other places. I would have stayed longer if I had the time. It is a great opportunity for growth and exchange. The dogs are sooo well behaved and cute. I loved every part of the staying and volunteering.

I really appreciated my time volunteering in the house, the hosts were nice and welcoming giving me and my family advice on places we could visit during our trip to finland. The volunteering tasks were all pretty simple and straightforward, most of them being basic chores to take care of the house and the garden. I would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of visiting finland.
