Jutta and Peik were very welcoming and gave me the space to adjust and decompress. Their home is lovely and their dogs are so sweet. The work was as expected and enjoyable. I learned a lot about Finnish culture and where the best hikes are. Not everyday was easy, but I became a better person from what I learned from them. Thank you so much!

My stay the home was an absolute delight!!🩷 Jutta and Peik are two of the loveliest people alive, so are both doggos. They welcomed me with open arms and an open heart. The accommodation was beautiful, warm, clean and cozy. The indoor and outdoor chores were easy to understand and diverse. One of my favourite experiences ever!💐✨️

Our stay with Jutta and Peik provided many valuable experiences. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, learned about the culture, and appreciated the collaboration. In the beginning, we felt welcomed and were excited about the tasks. Over time, we encountered some challenges with communication, as instructions were sometimes unclear or came quite late, which made it harder to complete our work efficiently. Toward the end of our stay, the atmosphere felt more distant, and we felt less included. We value the experience, clearer communication and openness would enrich future collaborations.

This however is a two-way street, we expect you to ask questions in case of unclarity. I can only say that the days I spent with Jutta and Peik were great. Both are very welcoming and attentive. I learned a lot from them about Finland, I had good recommendations on places to visit. I learned recipes for delicious and typical Finnish foods.I had full guidance on the work to be carried out and I hope I completed it satisfactorily.My favorite job was raking the autumn leaves that never stopped falling (I'm serious).The days spent there allowed me to get to know the Finnish way of living.I loved discovering glögi. It was a great experience. Jutta and Peik are amazing people. They are uplifting happy people who made me fell comfortable, welcomed and respected at all times. The chores for volunteering were fair and flexible, and they kept communication open and clear. The place is beautiful and they also helped a lot with recomendations for visiting places a around Helsinki and even other places. I would have stayed longer if I had the time. It is a great opportunity for growth and exchange. The dogs are sooo well behaved and cute. I loved every part of the staying and volunteering.

I really appreciated my time volunteering in the house, the hosts were nice and welcoming giving me and my family advice on places we could visit during our trip to finland. The volunteering tasks were all pretty simple and straightforward, most of them being basic chores to take care of the house and the garden. I would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of visiting finland.
