You can improve your Portuguese language skills, make your own projects, trips etc, you can see the Portuguese way of leaving. You will be invited to take part in dinners and events that we like to share with our guests, as well as plenty of time to enjoy the city, the beach and the amazing weather that the Algarve has to offer. There is an airport, train station and bus station in Faro, and a regular bus service to the beach.
Me and the staff are very friendly and easy going, you can expect to be integrated and be treated as family, we are normally every day in contact and we will help in any situation that is needed.

Essa foi minha primeira experiência com voluntariado e foi incrível! Conheci pessoas especiais durante esse período, tive ajuda de pessoas que já estavam voluntariando e foram todos muito solícitos, o almoço que oferecerem é bem servido e ajuda muito na economia. O voluntario necessita realizar as tarefas também em outros hostels do anfitrião mas são todos muito perto um do outro então é tranquilo, no geral tive uma ótima experiência.

My experience with Nuno was good! I was put at another one of his guesthouses, The Central, which was a calm, big and open space, perfect for having a relaxing stay. We would sometimes have to work at different of his guesthouses, depending on the workload and needs, which was totally okay for me since they all are maximum 5 minutes of walk from each other, and it provided some diversity in the work. For lunch, everyone from all the guesthouses would meet up on a terrace, and we would eat and chat with good music in the background. You could make a lot of new friendships this way!
