In Copacabana, only 3 blocks away from the city's most famous beach and surrounded by bars, shops, restaurants and other points of interest of backpackers. Our house is at the foot of a mountain, in a quiet street that has a 24-hour security.

I’ve stayed in many different hostels in Rio and Bamboo Rio is undoubtedly one of the best. The location is ideal, on the edge of a granite cliff in a quiet corner of central Copacabana. The bar/patio where I worked are even built into the natural landscape. It’s really cool. The facility is well equipped for volunteers and travelers, everyday staff put a lot of attention into keeping things smooth. One of the main reasons i returned to this hostel after staying there as a guest is because of the atmosphere and people it draws, always positive, always energetic. and always good.Check it out!👍

Pros:
1. Si te gusta la fiesta, este es el lugar. Tenés entradas para fiesta todos los días de la semana.
2. Buena ubicación.
Contras:
1. El cuarto de voluntarios parece una cueva. Es oscuro, huele a humedad, no es cómodo.
2. Es un hostel grande, tienen poco personal de limpieza y, a mi parecer, el trabajo es mucho (yo renuncié al 2do. día).
3. El desayuno es pan del día anterior (el nuevo se lo dan a los huéspedes) con dos huevos. Lo mismo todos los días.
P.D.: es mi opinión, hay voluntarios en recepción que estaban muy felices.
