I really enjoyed my time with Ananta! I learned a lot and was able to participate in many different new experiences. I would highly suggest that anyone interested in learning more about eastern religions take this opportunity.

I had a really good week with Ananta and his community. They are an amazing people and likes take care about you.
I explored SF and at the same time learned a little about what they believe. I also had an incredible day on the farm, with delicious food and beautiful view!
I really want to recommend this experience for everybody! If I go back to SF, I’ll do it again!

Anata is a compassionate person along with the rest of the Bhakti community in SF. This is my first experience with Bhakti yet it already feels like home. There’s always time to do yoga, explore the city, and gain a deeper understanding of what Bhakti really means. On Thursdays they have Kirtan. A time in which community members gather to share their passion and happiness. No matter your spiritual experience, they’ll make you feel right at home.

Bhakti Ashram was a wonderful place to learn about selfless service through devotion to Krishna. Be prepared to let go of some of your habits and use the chanting, offering and kitchen etiquette to bring you back to why you are there, serving krishna. I participated in morning chanting meditation, cooking, cleaning, kirtan (devotional music gathering), cooking for and dispensing food as a mobile soup kitchen. Ananta’s zeal for practice and his commitment to the path of devotion are inspiring. I am grateful for the opportunity and would recommend volunteering at Bhakti Ashram.
