We're a tiny hostel in the heart of Budapest where guests feel at home and make friends with each other easily. There is a great social vibe and usually everyone goes out together at night or even during the day. Having a lot of local knowledge we make sure everyone finds the balance most suitable for them between relaxing/partying or soaking in the culture and art life of Budapest.
We're looking for a reliable, easygoing, fun loving person with good social skills who could be part of our team, would share their knowledge about the city with our guests, show them the nightlife and help them socializing and making new friends here but also don't mind doing some daily cleaning.
In exchange, you can stay in the center of Budapest and we'd help you get to know the city, become part of a little community and have an epic time. Ideally we'd like to find a person who has enough time to get to know the hostel and city and is in no rush to travel on after 2 weeks.
The most important thing about our hostel is the friendly and social environment we create here. Therefor looking for people who always have a few kind words to guests, good at communication and knows how to help a group of strangers to become friends. Someone who is lively and energetic, has no issues with starting that conversation,a person who is ready to take people to bars and concerts, organize a sunset watching trip to the nearby hill or teach the group a new card game. We are one team, representing the hostel together so finding the right personality is crucial for us.

I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel. Everyone I met during my stay was amazing and became my second family in a different country. I am really thankful for this special experience and I would always come back. If you are looking for a place in Budapest with lovely and amazing people, then this is the place for you :)

It’s hard to sum up my experience at the Bubble in a few words. Within the first couple of days at the Bubble I had already felt part of the family, and leaving was very difficult. It doesn’t happen very often that you find yourself in a foreign country with complete strangers but you feel more at home and welcomed than you do in your own house. Olga is one of the best people I’ve met and I know most people who have the pleasure of meeting her would say the same. The Bubble allowed me to learn a lot about myself, whilst also feeling like I was making a difference to other people’s travels.

My stay at the hostel in Budapest was absolutely phenomenal! I had the opportunity to volunteer on-site, assisting with guest check-in and check-out, as well as showcasing my talent as a tattoo artist.
I was warmly welcomed by the hostel staff. They were incredibly hospitable and provided me with a rewarding experience as a volunteer. I had the chance to interact with guests, helping them settle in and providing information about the city.
The hostel's location was excellent, situated in a central area of Budapest.
I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking to have a memorable experience

I love my experience in Bubble Hostel! You'll feel like part of a small and cozy family. The tasks are easy to do. Gabor and Olga the owner are friendly and flexible with the schedule. I feel so lucky and grateful for their flexibility and my activities in Budapest. Also, I meet my "amigos" Hisham and Ahmad who are so fun! You'll share many laughs with them. They are part of the staff too!
