We also have a yoga studio with a friend and we always need enthusiastic and experienced yoga teachers
Me and my family have always lived in Corfu and we have a hospitality and hostel business near the beach. We are always looking for willing and happy volunteers to help get the place ready for the season. We need help with web marketing, computer work, some housework and maintenance, some furniture and room painting, activity promoting, and little odd jobs that need to be done around the place. If anyone has any plastering or bricklaying experience would be wonderful. We offer shared rooms, meals, wifi and we are near the beach and have free use of kayaking. We need help all year round. To everyone reading this: Magdalena is a beautiful soul with a beautiful family and I would not have traded this experience for the world!! I went to the beach, did some volunteer work in Marketing, I met a handsome man, visited the Old Fortress, I had an absolute blast. She will welcome you with open arms as long as you treat her the same. Be sure to put in the work also! Only downside is to *not go during the winter*, there’s no heating no radiators no hot water{water bit was accidental} so it was very difficult but apart from the weather, my trip was 9/10.

I wish I could say I enjoyed my time in Corfu more than I did. This was mostly due to time of year I visited. I was definitely warned that in Winter, the hotel is quite slow, which I was prepared for. I had assumed that there would at least be a confident bus into the town more than once a week, and at least a market in town open, but it was pretty much a ghost town (This assumption is entirely on me and not Magda). Magda was a very sweet and caring person, even if sometimes communication was tricky. If you want to come here, you will love it, if you come in the spring and summer.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay with us as much as you have wanted. As we live in a town that runs mostly on tourism, most things around us are shut in the low season when we do not have enough guests. Our place is great in the high season if you want to be around shops, people, excitement, but if you come for the low seasons it's more for people who are looking for quiet time, alone time, etc. We would love to have you visit us again in the busier months so you can see what we have to offer in the high season. The Pink palace has been a great first time volunteering for me. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff and other volunteers were super nice, the location was great and Magda was super nice (and very very hard working, so I just wanted to say it, because I think that she deserves the appreciation). The people really appreciate your work. It also doesn't matter if you come in high or low season because there is always work and the sea is always nice. I would totally recommend it!
