Finn McCools was a nice place to get away from the big cities and immerse myself in the beautiful causeway coastline for 2 weeks. I enjoyed learning the ropes of how to work in a hostel and the tasks were not too difficult.
It is quite an isolated location, the closest grocery store is a 35 minutes walk away just to give you an idea. So be prepared for that!
I only met the hosts a few times briefly, they seem like nice people but I would’ve liked to get to know them better! I think it would have created a more cohesive volunteering experience.

Finn's feels like home, it's a really nice place where you can relax, enjoy nature, it's close to beautiful places and you can walk for hours.
The tasks are easy and you have free time to do what you want
The hosts (Jaceyln and Andre) are really nice people, they always answer your questions and they trust you, so if you go to Finn it would be very nice if you use that trust in the best way! I really recommend coming here, it's an amazing place and it really feels like home ❤️

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I think, it was a perfect place to start with volunteering. The tasks were not difficult and I had enough free time to see everything I wanted during only two weeks.
André was very nice and understanding. He visits the hostel like once a week so he puts all his trust into the volunteers, which is quite brave.
We slept in a room for volunteers right outside the hostel. It was nice however more and more volunteers were arriving and some of the rest had to leave the place for another hostel to free some bads for others.

If you enjoy nature and want to relax for a while, this is the perfect experience. It is super close to the Giants Causeway, so you’re always just minutes away from breathtaking views. Everyone was really nice and I enjoyed my stay there a lot :)
