I had a great experience at Hostal Central! The work was reasonable and pretty easy and the owners and staff are very friendly, especially Kris, the manager. The hostel is very nice and the breakfast and daily activities are amazing. I would definitely recommend volunteering here!

My experience at Hostal Central was amazing. The staff is simply the best, not only because they prepare a delicious breakfast every day (hehe), but also because they are truly kind and caring.
The most interesting part was that during my shift time, I had the chance to take part in experiences related to Mexican culture-whether by helping out or simply for the pleasure of being involved. Among these, Mole Night and Mezcal Night were definitely my favorites.
The tasks were always clear, and the shifts were well-organized.
Oaxaca is truly beautiful and deserves to be discovered slowly :)

Fabi and Jaime were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The tasks were straightforward and easy to complete. The staff was amazing, and I had the chance to meet incredible people. I highly recommend this volunteer experience to anyone seeking a culturally immersive opportunity while assisting at the reception!

Great volunteering experience and totally recommended if it’s your first time volunteering, the staff of Hostal Central is going to receive you with love. The tasks are quite easy, the location is pretty convenient and the room of the volunteers is probably the best one I’ve had as a volunteer so far. Also breakfast is delicious!!

Ha sido muy buena como primera experiencia a través de Worldpackers. Cuando llegué me sentí como en casa desde el minuto 1. Fabian, Jaime y Krista son personas excelentes y junto a todo su team del hostal hicieron esta experiencia inolvidable. Tienen toda la semana organizada con eventos para el disfrute de los huéspedes y los voluntarios. La tarea no fue nada difícil para mi ya que vengo del sector de hostelería y turismo. Recomiendo este sitio 100%! Eternamente agradecida por todo :)
