La Controra Hostel

Naples is an amazing city!! Absolutely unique town in Italy and all Europe!!
Our hostel is one of the best structures of the city, with a lot of chilling spaces (bar, tv saloon, working spaces, big garden...) and it is raw to find this kind of place in the city.
Volunteers will be able to meet a lot of people from all around the world, have fun and party, but also learn about the napolitan culture with our local staff!

We are already a pretty "big" structure with more than 60 beds but we always try to keep a family vibes! So volunteers will be part of our team as a complete member of it! We communicate a lot between us and think that this is very important for the good ambiance!

Solo agradecimiento a todo el personal de l Controra por hacer mi estadía de los mejores voluntariados, gracias a Cris por siempre estar al pendiente, un voluntariado con tareas muy fáciles y con tiempos libres que me permitió conocer otras ciudades de Italia, Napoles es un lugar tan mágico que te enamorarás en la ciudad, gracias por todo 🙏🏾

Chris is a wonderful host, he makes you feel at home. The work is flexible if you want to travel far for more than one day. Through this experience, you have plenty of time to know deeper about Naples and also meet amazing travelers.

I had a wonderful time at La Controra hostel. All the staff is nice and friendly. I met a lot of amazing people and other volunteers became like a family to me.
The work is not hard. In the Morning shift volunteers help with breakfast and make beds. In the evening shift cook dinner for the hostel. You will have enough time to explore Naples and its surroundings.
Chris, thank you for everything! I really enjoy my time in Naples and would miss this place!

My time in la Controra hostel was very very good ❤️ It was my first volunteering and I feel like in home here thanks to the kind staff (Chris, Dalila, Lupe, Roberto big love🫶🏼) and all of the volunteers. The missions are not so hard (fun work) and the schedules are respected.
Then, enjoy your time here, you will not regret and if you want to go out or make other international friends, be free to join erasmus associations 😉 And another thing, don’t be shy to talk with guests !

This month in La Controra was amazing and I have some great memories with all the volunteers and the incredible staff. I really felt at home, the tasks are easy and you have a lot of free time to enjoy the city. What made my experience even better was definitely the people I met, not only the volunteers but also some guests and the exchange of different life stories and experiences was extremely enrinching and fullfilling for me. Grazie per tutto, La Controra! And a even more special thank you to all my volunteer colleagues and splendid human beings (Clem, Lucas, Lorenza, Maria and Johnny)!
