Nuestro lugar es ideal si te gusta tener tiempo para ti mismo y quieres explorar la zona. Somos bastante relajados y flexibles con los horarios, por lo que es ideal si tienes un vehículo para disfrutar del paisaje local, caminatas, el lago, etc.
El trabajo suele ser variado, con limpiezas de habitaciones y mantenimiento general. Sería muy adecuado para alguien que trabaje en línea, ya que el wifi es excelente y la configuración en tu espacio también es buena.
Estamos muy ocupados; manejando dos negocios y las partes generales de la vida cotidiana. Aunque intentamos interactuar tanto como sea posible, no siempre tendremos tiempo para ayudar con las cosas, así que tomar la iniciativa siempre es una ventaja.
Tendrás tu propio espacio (posiblemente con otros voluntarios). Organizaremos comidas y eventos ocasionales juntos, y si vamos a algún lugar que te interese y hay espacio, siempre encantados de llevarte, especialmente si te gusta socializar.
Probablemente no sea la mejor posición para aquellos que buscan ser sociables todo el tiempo.

Súper relajado. Les ayudé proporcionando contenido para redes sociales para apoyar su negocio de alojamientos y actividades accesibles. Lo mejor fue poder interactuar con uno de sus clientes en un viaje a la playa, una ruta de ciclismo de montaña, ver un partido de hockey y cocinar nuestra propia pizza. Me abrió los ojos a todo lo que una persona en silla de ruedas puede hacer con un poco de ayuda. Me quedé en un estudio privado con baño completo y cocina. Gran experiencia.

Great experience! We volunteered for Darren & Alisha for over 2 months as just loved the time here. Got to da range of different work that kept it fresh and new. They where really generous to both myself and my partner and it was really nice to spend time volunteering here. Would definitely recommend. :)))

ABSOLUTELY fabulous time volunteering here! Darren & Alisha are extremely kind and generous people and a delight to volunteer for. Originally me and my partner where meant to stay 3 weeks but ended up staying 2 and a half months. The space to live was so private, lovely and cosy. The work is really adaptable to your skills. We had some fabulous evenings doing BBQ's, pizza and games with both Darren & Alisha as well as there disability clients and guests. All round it was a splendid time! and the local area around the guest house is full of beautiful spots to visit. I would highly recommend.

Alisha and Darren were always very friendly and attentive, which made us feel at home working with them. Our accommodation was a private and comfortable studio, which ensured that we had a great time relaxing and resting after our working hours. It was great to learn how a bed and breakfast runs from behind the scenes. We felt appreciated for our efforts and it was good to be able to contribute for the smooth running of their business. Thank you for the good experience, Alisha and Darren!

We stayed with Alisha & Darren for almost 3 weeks and we had a good place for us, with privacy and everything needed during this period. As we had no car, they took us to the market to buy food and also provided itens for cleaning. The property is beautiful and quiet, perfect to relax and do other activities during non-working hours. Daily tasks were basicaly cleaning & seting the rooms between guests, but also some random tasks that poped-up depending on the needs of the moment. I recommend staying with them if you want to relax a bit and stay away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
