Your visit to Germany, specifically to us in the countryside will only be enjoyed if you like nature and quietness, it has to be a must, do not visit us if you want a city lifestyle!

Definitely the right place to come to learn the German language. Some of our staff speak only German so the opportunity to practice speaking, without embarrassment will come naturally!
Airport Hamburg or Berlin
Berlin works too, just alittle longer journey to us here.
You can take the train towards hamburg via Schwerin, change at Buchen and go to Lüneburg. Change at Lüneburg and get off at Leitstade ( in the forest!!!) when we know what time you get here ( if possible no later than the 18.30 train) we will pick you up.

Our Motto.. you'll get out, what you put in!. All our members of staff are chosen for their Team Spirit(In German= Teamgeist !), only together can we rock the boat! We offer a familiar hotel atmosphere, with guests coming and going, most being horse mad!. some member of staff work in the stables, others in the hotel. its a family run Establishment in its third generation. Sometimes its stressy but that goes hand in hand with the type of business we're in. Anybody who has experienced working in Bars or Restaurants knows that. Its a perfect post for a flexible, open minded student who seeks to be part our Team!. that's why we ask for a 2-3 month stay.

This has been my third volunteer so I know what I'm talking about. They were by far the best. They give you 3 real and complete meals per day. The work isn't so hard and they perfectly understand that you're a volunteer, not a worker. Really, the family love and want to have international people there. They make their best to make you feel as at home.

Staying and working at Landhotel Pferderschulze was an amazing first experience! Everybody is very welcoming and ready to help, and it’s clear giving us volunteers a good experience is important to the family.
The tasks weren’t hard at all and every member of the staff is very fun to work with :) so it was a pleasure to help at the hotel! The time spent not working can be a great opportunity to be in nature and enjoy the peace of the location. The connections made in this time felt really genuine and I hope we’ll meet again, thank you for everything, Schulze family! :D

I spent a really lovely time in Wietzetze and I'd like to thank the family and staff for their amazing hospitality, always making you feel at home, plus spoiled by daily choices of really nice healthy food. I worked at the stables/meadows which I found a rewarding activity as you get to make even more new pals (the horses!). The location is a bit remote but you get to learn a lot about local culture. On days off you can visit Lüneburg/Hamburg. For the swimmers there's an outdoor pool in Hitzacker or if you play football you are guaranteed to be warmly welcomed by a small but proud local club🏆

La familia Schulze te hace sentir muy bien recibido incluyéndote en sus tradiciones y eventos y siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte en lo que necesites. Además las tareas son sencillas de aprender y el horario de trabajo suele ser corto.

Eu tive uma experiência inesquecível no Landhotel. Compartilhei momentos memoráveis com aqueles com os quais eu mais me conectei. As tarefas são divididas entre os voluntários e determinadas conforme as habilidades e aptidões de cada um. Contudo, entenda que o anfitrião precisa de pessoas versáteis para desempenhar as funções. A experiência de cada um é única. Deixe para trás os seus medos e suas angústias, e traga somente o melhor de si para compartilhadar com todos por lá.
