Language Cafe Mickey House

Over 800 people have joined so far, some of them start living in Japan after, some of them got a partner from here.
You can stay in Tokyo not just as a tourist. You'll have another "life" here in Tokyo for a while!
Here is rough schedule for 2025, but I can accept from 3 months before of your staying.

Since my cafe stands for over 40 years, there are many fans in all over the world. I was also a customer since 15 years ago, and took over from the ex-owner 12 years ago. I really like talking with people and sharing our experience together. Our staffs will take you guys to fun places (Especially Friday night), I just want you guys enjoy this program!

My stay at Mickey house was a dream come true!!! I’ve always wanted to visit Japan and I was able to afford it thanks to Yuta and his awesome operation. During my stay, I met so many wonderful locals and a few international residents of Japan. If you want to live in Japan someday, this would be a great start for you. Personally, I was inspired by my experience and will definitely return for a longer period some day :)

This was a wonderful experience! I got to meet a lot of local people and spend time with them, and also met a lot of new friends amongst the volunteer, who were all very good people. The experience at the cafe is a very good way of practicing your languages while learning more about the local culture. The whole staff in the cafe is very friendly, and you will feel at home during the stay. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to immerse in the culture and with the people

One of the best volunteering experiences I've ever done. The work is very relaxed, you meet a lot of good people, you connect a lot with the locals, and you learn a lot about Japan. Yuta, the person in charge of the place, is a super nice person. He understands if you need anything, he takes care of your needs and does a lot of good things in his café... besides being a good friend, he's a great leader! He knows how to take care of everyone and everything! Thank you Yuta for this opportunity. I'll definitely be back to visit this place.

I had an amazing time with this volunteer experience. I got to meet so many cool locals and had great conversations while working at the cafe. I also will never forget all the fun memories with the whole volunteer crew. I was very sad to leave . Truly a memorable experience I will never forget. I could not recommend this experience more
