Not only are we located at the heart of London but we are very close to all the most famous tourist sites and they are all within walking distance of each other. You will get to explore London without the hassle of travel. With fourteen hostels across the city, LHA is the perfect place to start your new adventure.
For more than 80 years, LHA has provided young people and students with long-term, co-living accommodations they love and can afford. Here, you can familiarise yourself, socialize and decide whether or not to make London your permanent home.

I really enjoyed my time at LHA Railton House. The location is very good, close to the tube, parks and tourist attractions. The rooms are good, comfortable and we used to share them with 2 volunteers or guests. We had breakfast and dinner (or lunch at weekends) and everything was very tasty 😋 The staff are very good and the team of volunteers is great and we help each other :) thank you everyone for my experience in London 🎡

It was a good experience to meet and connect with people from different countries, the volunteers are amazing, the work can be hard sometimes but it depends, it is a team effort. The location is excellent for getting to know London, close to Paddington station. I have good memories.

This was my second time volunteering for LHA Railton and I appreciated being part of the team again. The recent expansion to two buildings (LHA purchased the hotel next door) significantly increased the workload for both management and volunteers. While additional volunteers have arrived, most days come with high expectations for the workload. The General Manager does his best with the resources available and genuinely cares about the volunteers. It's a fun atmosphere overall, thanks to the other team members, and the dinners provided are very good. I look forward to volunteering again.

It was my first experience as a volunteer and it was incredible. I had never worked in hospitality before and I can say that I learned a lot about teamwork and customer service. The work is not difficult, but you need to be dedicated and responsible. Many people count on you to deliver a good work. The team at LHA Railton/Paddington are amazing. I want to especially thank Isabel, Susanna and Aliou Barry who gave me all the support when I needed it. The volunteering was great, the responsibilities and schedules were respected and the meals were well served. I connected with several travellers from all over the world and had a lot of fun during my stay.
