We are the 1st youth hostel in Genova historical center (Unesco site since 2006). Our tiny hostel really encourages our guests to go through this amazing location also organizing walking tours and giving great advices about the best bars and restaurants.
We're all easygoing guys, we always like to build strong and reliable relations with all our volunteers. We're used to be fair and sincere, so that we can really trust each other.

I had an amazing time here. Communication with the bosses was on point, all of them were really lovely people. Atmosphere at the hotel was better than at home! You'll meet amazing people and have a good time. Work is not difficult and I think it's a great place for your first volunteering experience:)

Ha sido mi primera experiencia de este tipo y me ha encantado. La gente, trabajadores, voluntarios y huéspedes de larga estancia, te hacen sentir como en casa. Reconozco que la ciudad en si no me gusta tanto (tengo vértigo y hay muchos desniveles), pero solo por la gente merece la pena quedarse. En Manena te tratan muy bien y cumplen con lo que prometen. Una experiencia 100% recomendable.

Working shifts and tasks always given with time. Good communication and predisposition from the staff with the volunteers. Lovely environment where to meet tons of travellers and perfect ubication within the centro historico of Genova

Mi primera experiencia, en el hostel, no pudo ser mejor! Desde el primer momento que hablé con Giulio por videollamada, y si bien comenzamos la entrevista en ingles luego la seguimos en español para mi comidad, noté su predisposición a escucharme y comentarme todo sobre el voluntariado que estaba proximo a hacer.
Ya una vez en allí conocí a Giulio y al resto de los encargados, todos muy buena onda y se nota que es un lugar hecho por y para viajeros. Me llevo no solo una experiencia y aprendizaje(siento que aprendí mucho sobre el funcionamiento de un ostello), sino amistades y x eso gracias!
