Mr. Mullets Party Hostel

Our hostel is a fun, laid back, social hostel in the centre of San Pedro on beautiful Lake Atitlan. Rated the #1 hostel on Lake Atitlan. A year ago I purchased it with a group of my best friends - also backpackers who have stayed at/worked at hostels around the world. We're super passionate about our work here and are looking to run the hostel with a group of fun volunteers who want to help create a welcoming and adventurous environment.

We currently have 8 paid local staff. This includes 4 cleaners, 2 night guards, a gardener and 1 maintenance worker. We typically have between 6-8 volunteers, so it always feels like we're a big family hanging out :) Volunteers are given plenty of freedom and spare time and we try to work around them to make their experience here a happy one.
