My stay at Nomada was incredible! The property itself cannot be beat (Isla Verde), which you will also hear from many travelers coming through as well. The work overall was very collaborative and you would help out where needed. Some times I would be working reception and other times I would be sweeping or folding laundry. I learned a lot about what it takes to run a hostel as this was my first Worldpackers experience and first time staying at a hostel. This is a great place to meet other travelers and practice your Spanish. I would definitely come back and work with Neri again!

I was in the Reception, and I gained knowledge with receptionist tasks which was nice for me. The hostel was just opening a new bar at their second location and were of course focused and busy doing that so I felt a bit lost or I needed more guidance and introduction in the beginning. But after the first two weeks I started to figure things out my self, if my kind collegues couldn't answer. Night shifts can be long in the reception, I didn't expect that, but now I know.
I made friends & tours with locals and improved my spanish by going out solo. Nomada hostels are good for staying. Cl Loíza.

I really enjoyed my stay at Nomada. I was at the Nomada beach hostel in Isla verde (they're newer location). The property was gorgeous. Always very pretty and upkept. This location has a pool and is a 4 min walk from the beach. The rooms were really nice and was the nicest hostel I've stayed at. Work was really good, the host was great at communicating and working with peoples schedules. I would easily come back and work here again.

This is my first Worldpackers experience, and I can't say enough about this place. I may be ruined for all other hostels. I actually got sick right before I was scheduled to leave to come here and they were super understanding and allowed me to change my dates. There is definitely a "family vibe" with the volunteers and staff. There are two locations, and I was assigned to the Isla Verde hostel. It's very clean, beautifully decorated, has comfortable beds, very relaxed, and even has a pool. Every guest I've spoken to has said it is the nicest hostel they've been to. Highly recommend.
