Are you the type of person who enjoys striking up conversation with new people? Then we want you! For us it's important our guests feel welcome and supported during their stay. If you're after life in a big city this experience isn't for you. But if you're after a bit more of a quiet place with charm in a region famous for its red wines and porchetta (pork), you might just fall in love with our historical village with amazing views.
We are the eighth member of this hostel family and we want to make ourselves more known in Italy. Our volunteers help give life to this small medieval village and we become like a small family here, cooking and eating together and chatting with the guests over a beer.

Volunteering at Ostello Bello in Bevagna was an amazing experience that I highly recommend. The people I worked with were so nice and the location is incredible considering it looks over Assisi and its green valley. I stayed during the month of November so it was quiet but relaxing being in nature. Knowing some Italian before you go would help you enjoy your stay more. I had a great time at Ostello Bello!! Torre del Colle is situated in the most beautiful area and everyone in the borgo is so lovely. This is a perfect place to read, drink lots of coffee, eat good food, and recharge. However, it is very isolated - there are only 2 buses a day and it is 45 mins walk to the nearest town (with supermarket etc). It is also very quiet this time of year so there isn't much guest interaction. That means you will spend most of your time with fellow volunteers - which is great if you're working with amazing ones like I was, but definitely good to keep in mind!

Ostello Bello was a wonderful experience full of kindness, love, and peace. I had a great volunteer community and loved spending time with them, but during the time period I was at OB (Oct to Nov) it was very quiet at the hostel which means your experience is dependent on the crew. I recommend having a good level of Italian or Spanish to communicate with the hosts and travelers, because at the time I was there it was mostly Italian families. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing and introspective break in the countryside. Overall it was a great first experience + I’m so grateful ❤️

Ostello Bello Assisi Bevagna will always hold such a special place in my heart❤️ Everyone on the staff is so kind and welcoming and I had such an amazing experience here with Duilio, Edwin and everyone else I worked with! Could not recommend this experience enough if you want to meet life long friends and really connect with yourself and the nature around you!

Fue una hermosa experiencia. Para un mes yo creo q es muy bueno como detox de grandes ciudades. No es para conocer lugares dado que se necesita auto. Volveria sin dudarlo como huesped. Es un pequeño Lugar magico para descansar en tus horas/ dia libre.
