Our hostel is located in Lovere, nominated one of the most beautiful village in Italy since 2003, right in front of Iseo lake. Lovere city center is only 10 minutes walking from our building.

Lovere is a quiet and small village but can offer a lot, especially in summertime.
Our location gives lots of opportunities for those who loves sports:
hiking, swimming, canyoning, climbing, trekking, biking, canoeing are only some of the activities you can do in this area.

By public transports:
Bergamo city center is 1 hour away
Brescia city center is 2 hours away
Montisola (a big island in the middle of Iseo lake...worth to see) is 1,5 hour away
Milan, Verona or Venice could be visited in your days off as day trips

This place is perfect for those of you who would like to learn Italian or to improve your Italian language skills. :)

The volunteering experience was super positive. The work is simple, the people at the hostel are receptive and attentive, the hours were kept and the city is beautiful, I recommend it!

Everything was so great! The area and the Lake is so pretty and I would definitely recommend hiking in the Mountains! The staff was so nice and the working hours were just as agreed and not too much work at all! I would love to visit everyone again! <3

This was a mind blowing experience, seriously! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Starting with the surroundings of the hostel, there's a big lake where you can visit another cities and also get in touch with nature. PS: if you love hiking, this is the best place EVER.
Elisa, Valentina, Michaeli and the staff girls as well were so welcoming since day 1, I'll never forget ♡
The place is so cozy and comfy, nothing to complain about it.

The workin hours are fair and u also have a lot of free time to explore.

I'll miss hearing italian all day long 🥲🥲🥲

I loved my time at Ostello del Porto and after a few days I felt confident in conversing in Italian. The hosts are really nice and helpful and always willing to immerse you in the local culture. The great thing about Lovere is that there so many small beautiful villages around the lake and there's so much nature to be discovered. Most of the guests are Italians and German speakers (Germans, Austrians and Swiss) so you can practice both languages (more so Italian, of course). If you do end up coming here, you definitely have to take the boat trip to Monte Isola/around the lake. 10 out of 10.
