Parc Nature Gaspé
Hola,
Me llamo Charly (28 años) y trabajo para un camping llamado Parc Nature Gaspé. También tenemos una pizzería napolitana tradicional (nuestro chef Vincenzo es de Italia). El camping está rodeado de bosque y estamos dentro del Parque Nacional Forillon. Vine aquí hace 3 años como voluntario y nunca me fui.
Este año busco voluntarios que hablen francés y/o inglés y estén interesados en la comunicación con el cliente.
Dependiendo de las necesidades, las siguientes misiones podrían proponerse:
- este año abrimos un café/museo en Gaspé con el tema de los videojuegos retro y el personal podría necesitar una mano
- ayuda en el restaurante
- ayuda al juego de lanzar hachas
- limpieza y recepción del camping
Estamos a pocos minutos del parque nacional Forillon. Durante tus días libres, puedes hacer una caminata en busca de ballenas, osos y alces. La playa está a solo 800 metros; puedes bañarte, hacer kayak para encontrarte con las colonias de focas.
El personal es internacional (francés, quebequense, italiano, argentino, brasileño, inglés y quebequense hasta ahora). Hablamos una mezcla de francés e inglés, así que si hablas inglés, es una buena ventaja.
Tenemos una casa justo frente al camping con varias habitaciones. Según el número de workawayers, podrías compartir una habitación (tenemos 2 habitaciones con 2 camas simples y 1 habitación con una cama simple). También tenemos roulottes en el camping que pueden ser usadas. Para la comida te proporcionaremos un presupuesto para comprar lo que quieras en la tienda de comestibles. A menudo comemos en el restaurante, así que espero que te guste la pizza :D

I had an amazing experience in the camping!!! Charly is an amazing person who cares a lot about volunteers and makes you feel welcome. The hours were always respected, and he is really flexible in helping you to get to know the place because he offers to take you to the park in car. The campsite is really pretty and the job that is done there is really physical, but overall satisfying in the end. You just have to take into consideration that the house where you will sleep is a shared house by about 8 people, so you need to be open minded about sharing common spaces. incredible experience!!

This was my first experience as a Worldpackers traveler and I couldn't be happier!! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The work is super flexible depending on your skills and you can choose your days off. The accommodation was great, I had a room with my friend, in a shared house. The beach is very close and there are beautiful hiking trails. I made some amazing new friends! It really felt like home away from home. I had such a great time, I would recommend 100%!

My bestfriend and I spent two weeks at the camping in July, and we had the best time! Charly is super nice and flexible, and we quickly became close with the other friendly volunteers. We never worked more than the amount of hours we initially agreed on and mostly finished early. The work itself was exactly like what we had been told prior to our stay, mostly cleaning and maintenance around the campsite. The area is beautiful and the view of the mountains from the campsite is insane + the beach is walking distance… Great place to stay! :)

I absolutely adored my time at the camping! The team was so friendly and welcoming, I honestly can't wait to see them all again. The work is super flexible depending on your skills and what you're interested in, and you can choose when you'd like your days off too. Accommodation was ideal, you get a private room in a shared house, and of course the national park is just down the road and the beach is basically next door. I had such a great time I've already planned to come back to work another month. I would 100% recommend !

I'm very happy and lucky with my experience at the camping. Charly is an amazing person, really committed with the camping and the volunteers, he become like an old brother. The house is very good and I had my own room. I started working in the camp side, cleaning and arranging the area, but then I become a server at the restaurant, where I met and talk with a lot of clients from everywhere in the world (also, I developed even more my french and english. BONUS: learning italian with the chef of the restaurant). the camping become like a family to me and I want to be back!
