QUO Milano

From amazing amenities to a great location, QUO Milano is one of the most popular hostels in Milan! The unique bar atmosphere combined with that home feeling make QUO a fair place to spend a couple of weeks volunteering, meeting people from all over the world and exchanging experiences.

Volunteers work in different positions and tasks which makes the experience even more plural and is a great opportunity to develop the sense of responsibility! And talking about plural... One of the best things about QUO is our daily activities like: Karaoke Night, Trivia Night, Stand Up Comedy, live music and more!

Our kitchen is big and fully equipped for everyone to cook! As our guests, the volunteers can have the free breakfast everyday. Coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, cereal, toasts and fruits is always on the house! We also have a selection of free food available: pasta, rice, eggs, bread and more.

We are known by our always-ready-to-help staff! And we wanna keep that way connecting to the guests and learning every day a little more! People with this vibe of connecting and sharing experiences are more than welcome in our home.

We care a lot about our volunteers! Our amenities are great, the volunteers room was recently upgraded and we are always trying to improve to make their experience as good as possible! We want people to have a great experience with us!

My first volunteering experience was at Quo Milano, and it was exceptional. I worked at the bar in the morning and afternoon, which required strong communication skills with guests from all over the world. This made the experience even more enriching. What stood out the most was the staff—I expected them to be reserved, but they were incredibly welcoming and supportive. Their kindness and willingness to help made a huge difference. It was an amazing experience, and I’m very grateful for everything I learned and the connections I made!

Volunteering at Quo was one of the best experiences of my life. It was my first time volunteering, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the staff and other volunteers.
The positions and shifts were really organized and clear to follow. All the staff members were always very helpful, patient and friendly, which made the job easier.
I’m taking the best memories, thank you all for this amazing experience💗

I had a really great experience at Quo! the team is simply amazing- super sweet and welcoming. From the very first moment, i felt at home, and over time, it really starts to feel like a family. Its a great place for someone who is just starting since the tasks are easy to learn and the schedules are well defined. there were some issues in Communication that could be improved, but overall it didnt affect our experience that much. the volunteers have their own space apart from the hostel area, which helps separate work and free time. I loved my time there, thank you and ill miss you all<3

I stayed for two months and worked in the bar at night. So i had enough time to travel around and I really enjoyed Milan and the nature around the city.
Every single person at quo was friendly to me.
At the beginning of the year the hostel went through a lot of changes and had some communication problems in the team, which affected the atmosphere.
Anyway, the guests and the events were lovely and I improved my skills. I made a lot of special memories and I'm grateful for that time.

QUO Hostel was my first ever experience in the Volunteering World. All tasks and responsibilities are explained well by other volunteers or staff members. I was extremely lucky with my group of other volunteers, I had a wonderful experience connecting to the people and making sure I do my job well.
The appartament of the volunteers is pretty decent, except for some small reparations that weren't fixed after asking one time.
The atmosphere with the other volunteers and staff was very great. I would recommend this place to someone who is really outgoing and likes to be with people.
