What are we offering you is an opportunity to learn about the daily routines of a hostel in a cool environment, a bed (bunk bed), free laundry and wi-fi. What we need from you is some hours of help per day. This includes bed making, laundry, breakfast, bartending, and keep the hostel organized and clean.
We are a very cool Hostel and our staff is very friendly. Located in the heart of Lisbon, just 400 meters from Anjos metro station, close to the busy Avenida Almirante Reis. The stop of the mythical electric nr 28 is just in front of our place. ;)

Really enjoyed my time at Sant Jordi. The hostel itself is very clean and well cared for and the work was as agreed upon and overall fair. All the staff were really welcoming and helpful and all work super hard. Housekeeping staff especially were great and very patient! The other volunteers made my experience and the garden outside the room was a definite highlight.

My experience at Sant Jordi was truly unforgettable! The hostel itself is beautiful, especially the garden. The staff are friendly, and we all grew very close through the month. Nico is open to listening to concerns if you have any. My experience was made incredible by the family I found in the other volunteers.
Take into consideration that it is a big hostel, so you have to make an effort to connect with people. The volunteer house is not in great condition, but it is nice that you have your own private area.

This was my first time travelling as well as my first time doing a volunteer experience and it was wonderful all around. The work itself was reasonable and the hours were decent enough that you got to enjoy the rest of your day. The hostel is big and clean. The volunteer room is separate from the others but it felt like our own little area. The staff were amazing, just to name a few..Rocio, Igor, Nico, Daniela thank you ! As for the other volunteers, I’m grateful I met all of them because they made my stay memorable. Would recommend this hostel.

This was my first experience as a volunteer and I enjoyed it. The schedule was always clear and the tasks where definitely feasible. The hostel itself is really nice, the volunteers stay at a separate house in the garden which was a bit small for the amount of volunteers. I‘m really grateful for the people I met during my stay and who made this experience memorable :)
