Sant Jordi Hostels Lisbon

What are we offering you is an opportunity to learn about the daily routines of a hostel in a cool environment, a bed (bunk bed), free laundry and wi-fi.

What we need from you is some hours of help per day. This includes bed making, laundry, breakfast, bartending, and keep the hostel organized and clean.

We are a very cool Hostel and our staff is very friendly. Located in the heart of Lisbon, just 400 meters from Anjos metro station, close to the busy Avenida Almirante Reis. The stop of the mythical electric nr 28 is just in front of our place. ;)

From the second I went in the door I felt at home , the staff , other volunteers and guests all mingled positively throughout my entire time there. In terms of the hostel itself , I think it would be hard to find a hostel with nicer facilities. The kitchen , gardens , bar and rooms are absolutely beautiful, go and see for yourself !

My experience at Sant Jordi was great ! The staff was incredibly welcoming, kind and always available if I had a question, the working hours are fair and respected. I also had a personal issue and the managers were really empathetic and tried their best to help. Bonding with the guests, the other volunteers and the staff was definitely the best part of the experience. Big thanks to everyone who made my time here unforgettable <3

This was my first experience doing a volunteering and was more than I ever expected. Really beautiful hostel and the staff was very welcoming and respectful. Every person of the staff and volunteers made me feel like being in home. The tasks were well defined and the schedule was always respected and flexible. My time at SJ was truly amazing! The team was incredibly welcoming and supportive every step of the way. The work was fair and manageable, and whenever I had questions, there were always staff members available to help me. This was my first volunteer experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The location and surrounding area were fantastic, and I had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, even while working. The working hours and schedule were clearly communicated and very reasonable. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience!
