STF Hagaby/Lantgården

Its a countryside hostel near the sea, situated on the island Öland in the Baltic sea. Nature is fantastic, nice sand-beaches, sunny weather. With lots of activities like yoga retreats, painting courses.

We have a great time together. Volunteers has their own house with a dormitory and own kitchen. They have their own bicycle to use when they are here. In the free time there is many nice places to visit. Beaches are near and Öland has most sunshine in Sweden. Its called Swedish Hawaii.

It was amazing! Stefan and Susanne are so sweet and kind. The work is very light around 4-5 hours a day and 2 days off a week. In your free time you can enjoy the island, the beaches or read in the Swedish nature. I really loved it and would come back every time!❤️

My experience at Landgarten was wonderful from the start to finish. Not only you are surrounded by stunning coastal nature, but also by stunning, kind people, who always made me feel like I was among my best friends:). I will never forget these two weeks I could spend with Stefan, Suzanne, Kasia and other volunteers, I hope to see you all again💙

Fue mi primer voluntariado y no pude haber tenido más suerte con esta elección!

Susann y Stefan son personas maravillosas que me trataron como de la familia.
Las tareas son sencillas. Todos los días almorzamos juntos y nos reímos muchísimo!

A la tarde teníamos mucho tiempo libre para descansar, relajar y conocer la isla.
Recomiendo este voluntariado más que nada si estás buscando paz y tranquilidad.

Aunque también durante la temporada hay hasta una discoteca. En Löttorp (a 2km) hay otro hostel que también tiene voluntarios y muchas veces nos juntábamos también con ellos.
Recomiendo 100%

I loved my stay at Lantgården 🥰. I stayed for 3 weeks and felt very comfortable the whole time. The work is as described, mostly housekeeping but there are are also other tasks you can do. Öland is beautiful and easy to discover by bike (which is provided) and I had a great time with Stefan, Susanne and Kasia and all the family & friends that stayed at Lantgården over midsommar 🪻🪻. Thank you all for this experience and I hope we will someday meet again!

Staying in here in Sweden was truly a great experience! ☺️ The nature is stunning and surroundings perfect for anyone looking for a calm environment. Thank you Stefan and Susanne for being so friendly and welcoming!
Also Luna was always great company 🐕
The offered bikes are perfect to get around and go on longer tours through Oland. The work was as described and enjoyable.
I would always come back ☀️
