Stockwell farm

Beautiful scenery. Wonderful organic veggies. Lots to learn and plenty to explore in the Matanuska Valley. Trails to hike and lots of mts to climb. Also downtown palmer is a 15 drive away. There is a spare car for volunteers to share on the weekend and we have a community dinner every night.

I've been farming this area for 20 years and and Randy has been helping me with volunteering help and cooking and farmers markets for over 4 years.

I loved every second that I spent at Stockwell Farm. Every soul that was in there was beautiful !!! From Vern and Randy to all the volunteers that were there while I was there. I take with me an amazing 1st world packers experience and I’ll 100% be back to the farm. Alaska is just awesome but if you are surrounded by the right vibes it is just magical ✨ the “work” is easy and there is plenty of time to adventure afterwards.

Stockwell farm is a great place. The people could not be any nicer. You will feel welcome immediately. You can’t get fresher vegetables than here. Picked and eaten same day.

This place changed my life, Randy and Vern are incredible hosts, from the day you arrive they make you feel at home and part of the family, I only have words of gratitude and love for everything they gave me, Alaska is a paradise and the farm is an incredible place to be able to connect with yourself, I can't wait to come back, I love you family, thank you for everything.

This has been one of my best experiences while travelling and I'm so grateful to Randy and Vern for taking me in! This place feels like a home away from home. Work is fun, entertaining and very relaxing coming from a city, fast-paced life. You can't get a better experience than this if you want to feel part of a community, eat healthy and live a balanced, happy life. Come prepared to stay longer than you expected! I wish I could've stayed longer and I hope to be back.
