We are social hostel, creating vibes that brings guests and staff together.
With day and night activities - including free dinners in between - we really help create a community within and between the hostels for guests and staff alike. The social aspect of our hostel is what makes our hostels the best in the industry!
We are from all over the world. Creating a family away from home. Our work is our home and we enjoy what we do with whom we do. We share good moments and we enjoy life and Madrid.

I volunteered in Sungate for a month and I fell in love with my little volunteers family ❤️ I am sure we will see each other again all around the world. I got to know every staff and got very close to most - gracias a todos de verdad 🥰 .
I can only recommend this experience, tasks are easy and so are the shifts. Party leading shifts are mostly done with another volunteer so you get to bound with everyone !
Communication could be hard at times but it all got sorted afterwards and was mostly due to gaps in the training.
If you look for a nice Madrid experience I honestly recommend 100%

Ah what a special place OneFam is, I got comfortable super quickly and had such a great time. The staff is incredibly friendly and they really make you feel like a part of the family. The work was super doable and getting the party shifts didn’t feel like work because your job is to help everyone to have a good night. Training at the start could have been a little bit more thorough, but the volunteer culture is so solid that your other volunteers will help you out with whatever you need.
This experience was incredible, I’m glad to be part of the OneFam family and hope to do it again soon 🫶🏼

My experience in Sungate was awesome. The staff tought me many things and helped me to know the lifestyle in Madrid. The other volunteers were wonderfully awesome! We were a dream team. It's a place where I felt really welcome.

I had an amazing time at sungate! The volunteers made my time so special, I will miss them all so much. The work isn't difficult, there are 3 shifts that consist of helping with laundry, cooking, cleaning up and bringing the guests to party. As a volunteer, you get good benefits with the parties and you get to join in on the activities if you want to. I will say that you need a lot of energy to volunteer here, as its a very lively hostel but if you are a sociable person then you won't find it difficult. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have met and made friends from all over the world!!

Sungate one hostel isn’t a simple hostel, it’s a special place that remains in your heart , during the month and a half I spent there I found a second family, all the people who work in the hostel and all the volunteers made this experience incredible . It's a perfect place to learn, have fun, make amazing memories and meet people from all over the world !! thank you all for this experience, see you soon! 🫶🏻
