Thank you for taking the time to visit our page. We are a back packers travel hostel and as you can imagine ( covid 19 ) impacted us dramatically. We are still trying to get over the impact that this has had on the hospitality industry.

We are a small bussiness within Liverpool, we work in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and we except guests from around the globe.

We pride our self in customer
satisfaction and had ratings of 9.7 and 9.3 respectively.

We love what we do and are always eager to accept people and accommodate them in any way we can.

If you are outgoing and feel you can contribute and have what it takes to work with us, why not drop us a line and talk to us. We are able to provide free accommodation in exchange for small duties. Our staff are treated with respect, and we really consider them to be part of the Hostel family. Our volunteers are treated all the same way. We expect volunteers to work hard and give us 100%, in order to give our guests the experience they deserve. We also play hard and try to make guests feel welcomed and volunteers appreciated and valued as part of the team. (ALSO WHEN COMING BRING YOUR OWN TOWEL)

I had a really great time in the Liverpool Pod for my first volunteering experience.
Tim, the host, is very nice and understanding, and even if he isn't always in the hostel you can always reach him on his phone.
I met really nice people there, and we had lot of fun together.
The work isn't difficult, and you can have time everyday to go out and discover the city.
Little bonus, if you are a football addict, this is the place for you!

Tim and Kate are really nice and always care about everyone’s well-being. I initially applied to stay for two months and ended up staying for five!
The work and schedule are always respected, and the hostel is very well-maintained and clean. Liverpool is a wonderful city, we have easy transportation options.
The Pod is a great place to make friends from all over the world and if you want to practice English, it’s the right place.I had wonderful experiences with the other staff members.

The Pod was a very pleasant experience. Tim is a great host, always attentive to the needs of the volunteers and in constant communication with us. The hostel is nice and I was able to meet people from Liverpool as well as backpackers from all over the world. The location is great if you are a football fan, and it is very easy to access the bus lines to do the whole Beatle tour if you are also a fan. Thanks for the opportunity Tim! We will see each other again ❣️

My second time to return to this volunteering experience. I enjoyed it that much that I came back again. Really enjoyed my time staying in Liverpool. This Hostel was an amazing experience for myself. What made it special was the other volunteers and also the staff. There's lots to do in Liverpool from walking tours to meeting all the guests for all over the world. I definitely have fond memories of this place and no doubt I will return back to Liverpool again. A big thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart. 💕💕💕

The time I spent at The Pod was really nice, the interaction with the guests is always pleasant and fun, it's perfect for having a multicultural experience, plus, around the hostel there are several places that can be visited like a local, and it's very easy to get to the center. The tasks are very simple. Tim, Kate, and Emma are very kind and attentive, always looking out for your well-being. The collaboration with the rest of the staff was truly wonderful; living day-to-day at The Pod feels like home.
