We live in a beautiful part of Normandy, the countryside is wonderful for exploring by foot or bike. The villages and towns are full of interesting and historical architecture. If you enjoy being close to nature and you love animals you will be happy here!

We are a friendly couple and we enjoy socialising, we can help you improve your English. I am vegan and we are both passionate about animals and nature and we are both qualified horticulturists so we can teach you a lot about plants!

Our time volunteering in Ticheville was so wonderful! Debbie is just an absolute angel and we had so much fun with her, the best conversations and she also taught us so many new things. Daniel was also an amazing host, always doing our weekly grocery shopping and trying to do everything in his power to make it as nice as possible for us :) The work was really great and mostly done in the beautiful big garden! During our stay we always had company of two really cute cats that were always down for some cuddles. I will forever be grateful the experience and the memories I have made here!

Our time at Debbies and Daniels place was truly wonderful! For us they were the perfect hosts- they always made sure we had everything we needed and had a good time and listened to our concerns. We loved spending time in the huge garden, with the chickens and the two adorable cats! During the time we stayed the main task in the garden was weeding but Daniel and Debbie still managed to make it interesting for us. We learned new things about gardening and even tried new vegan foods we didn’t know about before.
We will take so much from our stay here and highly recommend it!

The place of the Vegan garden is truly very beautiful, the garden is huge and perfect for relaxing and calming your mind. Debbie and Daniel were always nice and very welcoming to us! We will say that the actual village where the volunteer is located is pretty remote and sometimes the only option to get places was to hitchhike. Debbie did all of her efforts to make the weekends exciting for us and took us to events which we really enjoyed, she also gave us a lot of tips about vegan food and cooking! We will forever keep memories that we made during this time! Thank you for this opportunity :))

My wife and I had an amazing experience during our time with Debbie and Dan. Located in Ticheville, their property is a large and beautiful garden, so the main activity was weeding.

There is a house on the property for volunteers where we spent 5 weeks just my wife and I, and 2 weeks sharing with another lovely couple. As we were there during the summer, we managed to spend most of our time working in the garden and visiting other cities on our days off, even managing to enjoy a few festivals during our stay

If you enjoy a peaceful and natural setting, this place will be perfect for you!

The hosts are friendly, attentive, and very approachable, always willing to help and explain everything. They are people who left their mark on our hearts during our stay.
The activities are as described, lots of weeding, taking care of the animals, taking care of the garden - we found several moments of rest for our minds in this activity - and they respect the times and activities agreed upon.
The place is stunning, and the days and nights are very beautiful.
It is a great experience to meet Debbie and Daniel and also to get in touch with nature in a wonderful corner designed by them.
