We have a big house on the island of Samos. Few years ago I (Michael) moved over here and have been working to make my dream come true: having a small paradise in harmony with animals, nature and people. My 3 lovely dogs, 3 geese, and 3 chickens are my family here. And the family is continuously growing.
Besides the animals, I have a big garden with a surface of 2000 square meters. Here we cultivate lemons, oranges, vegetables, flowers and more.
My dream is having an authentic place for cultural exchange with volunteers from all over the world. The house is situated in the backyards of Kokkari, one of the most famous and beautiful villages on Samos, only 30 minutes from Samos airport. Although quiet and surrounded by green fields, the house is situated only a few minutes walk from the beach with many restaurants, bars and shops.
We (me and my 3 dogs) love to show people around the island. We can also show you or go together to typical restaurants and Tavernas on the island. I am always happy to exchange travel experiences and stories, like, for example, my many adventures in India and Nepal! And I would pleased to hear your stories and experiences as well!

My time in Villa Michalis was great. Michael is a lovely man and an amazing host. He made me feel comfortable and I felt respected as a volunteer. The tasks in the beautiful house located in one of the most beautiful villages in Samos were easy and Michael is always open to talk and he also can be flexible about the schedules. I highly recommend this volunteer position!

it was a good volunteer, michael was very nice and made us feel very comfortable. the tasks were easy and you had free time to go to the beach in the afternoons. the house is very comfortable, the food delicious, michael always willing to talk, you had to walk the dogs (which are lovely) and do some gardening, I recommend this experience!

My experience in Villa Michalis was super fun! Michael it’s a very nice man and the dogs are super super cute, I already miss them! The house is beautiful and you get the opportunity to know a lot of different people from everywhere. The tasks are easy and then you can spend the day in the amazings beaches!
