Wild Ginger Hotel
Como una pequeña empresa familiar, brindamos a los voluntarios un ambiente cálido, hawaiano y relajado. Actualmente buscamos personas que deseen experimentar el espíritu aloha de las islas mientras realizan voluntariado en nuestro hostal; nos encantaría darles la bienvenida a nuestra ‘ohana (familia).
En intercambio por un compromiso de cuatro (4) semanas de limpieza, nuestros voluntarios reciben una litera superior en un dormitorio exclusivo para hombres o para mujeres. Junto a los huéspedes, los voluntarios también están invitados a disfrutar de un desayuno continental gratuito al estilo hawaiano cada mañana. Las comidas de carne se proporcionan a nuestros voluntarios los días que trabajan (no se garantiza comida vegetariana o especial). El wifi gratuito está accesible en el vestíbulo para que los huéspedes y el personal lo utilicen en cualquier momento.

Unfortunately i have had a bad experience this time around. The hosts sold the hostel and the new owners kicked everyone out in 7 days. I had nowhere to go and worldpackers only covered 49$ which doesn't even pay for a night at a hostel. I was very disappointed with the way things were handled and for the lack of prior notice.

Had a wonderful time at the hostel Inn! Great people, nice job tasks and always a super lunch after work. Fantastic people, super friendly and easy to talk to. I cut my foot during my stay at the hostel Inn, and everybody was really helpful driving me to the hospital and helping. Thank you for a good time!

If you're looking for a relaxed environment and to explore Hilo, the hostel is your place! The housekeeping work is straightforward and side tasks are shared between all work-traders. You're allowed to listen to music while you work which makes the work day fly by. At the end of your shift you get a delicious meal, Al is a GREAT cook. Meals ranged from soups, burgers, curries, shrimp pasta, and the list goes on! Never the same meal twice. They even accommodated my dietary restrictions. I had a blast getting to know the staff and going out to events together. I will cherish these memories!

Amazing people and a beautiful Hostel that overlooks the Ocean. The work is straight forward and I would highly recommend the hostel Inn to all work traders. Perfect opportunity to get out and explore this beautiful island.
