Tuvimos que cortar nuestro tiempo de estadía debido a la aduana/app, pero la estadía con Martín & Shirley fue de las mejores experiencias, se siente un hogar donde te cuidan y se preocupan por ti, lo recomiendo 100%. Una familia muy amorosa y alegre. Esta fue mi primera experiencia en voluntariado y fue perfecta.

Todo lo que dicen los anteriores comentarios es totalmente cierto. Ellos son una pareja encantadora junto con uncle Pat, Gerry y Rachel. Excelente ambiente tanto en lo laboral como en la convivencia. Son todos muy atentos y cordiales. He aprendido mucho sobre su cultura y costumbres. Recomiendo %100 que vengan y más si es tu primera vez. Para todo aquel que no hable mucho inglés acá aprendes muy rápido y divertido. Más que agradecidos con ellos para alguien que viene de lejos y solo hace muy bien este tipo de recibimiento. Me borraron la reseña por ser honesta. Así que voy a tratar de ser light. Al principio me trataron súper bien y al final me destrataron e hicieron sentir incómoda. Intenté hablar con Shirley pero me dijo que estaba "todo bien". Me terminaron echando 2 días antes. El hijo me hizo sentir re mal el último día. Si quieren me hablan y les cuento qué pasó. Inclusive pueden hablar con Andrés que le pasó algo similar o inclusive peor, el me pidió que lo nombre en mi reseña porque no sabe cómo cambiar la suya. No recomiendo este lugar para hispanohablantes que no hablan inglés fluido.

Es un lugar increíble!! Shirl y Martin son una pareja increíble te hacen sentir en casa y aprendes muchísimo de la cultura , es un lugar donde aprendí y mejore mi inglés! !

El mejor voluntariado de mi vida! Literalmente nos enamoramos de Irlanda gracias a ellos, más que un lugar de voluntarios es integrarse directamente con la familia! Toda la familia es increíble y siempre están felices de estar contigo, las tareas son variadas y muy simples, te cumplen con los horarios y te atienden muy bien! Literalmente es una familia 100% irlandesa así que te sumerges en la cultura local todo el tiempo! Volveré con mucho gusto!

My partner & I have really enjoyed our time at the home! The hosts are kind, they communicate their expectations clearly, and will go out of their way to help you. There are a lot of different jobs happening every day here. We were mostly gardening & housekeeping. The hosts were always able to supply us with safety gear for our jobs. We loved that this experience has lots of animals around! Dogs, donkeys, and lots of birds and hedgehogs wandering through. We would recommend the home to anyone who wants to work whilst experiencing real Irish hospitality, see the countryside :)

I had a great time at the home! Martin and Shirley are great hosts and they welcomed me and treated me well from the first moment. I was always well looked after and the property is in a very peaceful area with donkeys and lovely dogs. The site is not too far from towns and the hosts are always willing to help you and make sure you are well situated and comfortable. The accommodation is very comfortable and I was always treated like family. I'd recommend this experience to anyone who wants to develop skills, get to know Ireland's Midlands and have a great time with a fantastic family

Hola Clayton. Nos ha encantado tenerte aquí con nosotros en el barn lodge. Recomendaremos encarecidamente a Clayton para cualquier proyecto. Es trabajador y muy amable y considerado. Martin and Shirley were amazing hosts and they have a great property in a beautiful place. They were very understanding with my requests about schedules as well. Would recommend for someone who wants to meet great locals and have a true getaway.
