Mi estancia fue increíble gracias a la maravillosa relación que tuve con otro voluntario y a los estudiantes muy amables; me encanta eso. Abdel fue muy atento desde el momento en que llamamos antes de mi llegada y se aseguró de que estuviera bien. Sin embargo, creo que la estancia en la casa del voluntario podría mejorar con la comunicación. Por ejemplo, nadie me explicó las reglas, como que también tenía que pagar por cosas básicas como toallas de papel, agua, detergente para la ropa, y además no hay Wi‑Fi en la casa :/ así que, honestamente, eso fue incómodo porque es algo tan básico… Viví como un local, hice compras en el souk, e hice un hammam ◡̈

Este viaje a Beni Mellal fue una experiencia humana extraordinaria, profundamente conmovedora. Es aquí donde realmente entendí lo que buscaba: ver la realidad, a veces la miseria, pero sobre todo la belleza de la simplicidad. La escuela es un lugar increíble. Los niños son curiosos, sonrientes, llenos de vida, y los profesores de francés son amables, pacientes y muy abiertos. Incluso con un nivel de francés imperfecto, logramos crear un vínculo. Una sonrisa, un gesto, una intención sincera a veces valen más que las palabras.

Mis 4 semanas en the school en Beni Mellal fueron una experiencia increíble. Fui recibido con los brazos abiertos por Khalid, Luke y Abdel. Un saludo para Khalid, mi principal punto de contacto, que hizo que mi estancia fuera lo más cómoda posible y me mostró la auténtica forma de vivir marroquí. Fin de semana, excursiones a las montañas, comida tradicional (deliciosa) y la oportunidad de conectar con los locales y los estudiantes. Muchas gracias a Abdel por toda su ayuda, a Luke por las aventuras matutinas hacia Ain y las intensas partidas de cartas y a mis increíbles compañeros de habitación, Moruya, Wam, Ally y Kaitlyn. Nunca cambies. Los quiero a todos <3

It was an amazing experience. our task were social media and teaching italian. The hours were respected and you can't do more than 15h/week. We lived in a shared apartament with other volunteers. There was once a week couscous offered from the the school and some trips around, big thanks to Said I felt sick and i needed to leave before and we found an agreement. I recommend. The only problem i personally had was having no wifi in the apartment and no hot water for the shower, the rest was all good, people in kelaa (the city) and in the the school are super welcoming and i hope one day to come back

This was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Abdel is cool and open minded to ideas about the the school and media. I was able to meet people and create strong bonds with them. It's experiences like this one that strengthen my belief in God because a lot happened that I didn't expect and those surprises were for the better. I would recommend 100%

The the school is the organization most dedicated to promoting the wellbeing of their students that I have seen on worldpackers. Even if it is a for profit institution, Abdel and Luke are dedicated to the wellbeing of the community and trying to provide an opportunity to improve their lives and as well as provide cultural exchange between the students and the volunteers. They are attentive to the needs and wellbeing of the volunteers and always ready for feedback. Stanshkl Hwa!

Abdel and Luke were very attentive and helpful. I felt respected and cared for as if I were one of the family. Every Sunday was adventure day and we visited many local waterfalls, rivers and bonded in local natural settings. I felt welcomed by all the people I met in Kelaa and would love to return to send time with my new friends. I made great friendships with the other volunteers and hope to meet up with them in the future.

If you are looking for a cultural experience supported by a group of dedicated professionals, I suggest you consider volunteering with Abdel and his team. I taught 9 - 19 yo students English at one of their schools, located in Attaouia, a small town 1h East of Marrakech. I taught 1-1 lessons for 3 hr/day average. I stayed at an apt 3 mins walk from the the school. Meals were not included. Tried the local cuisine and also cooked. Abdel checked in frequently and small things were taken care of immediately. Two highlights were the deep conversations with the staff and the contact with the students.
