As a volunteer with us your working day will be planned out by the Manager of the lodge who will be on hand to help with work and show you what needs to be done, we like to keep a balance where we work but also enjoy ourselves! Our volunteers play an important role in making guests feel welcome and helping to create a friendly and fun atmosphere. We also need help with housekeeping, kitchen prep, and with our outdoor Spa 'The Big Dipper'.

Worldpackers should expect a fun and pleasant atmosphere where they get to meet other people and enjoy the West of Ireland the lifestyle we have created here.
At BigStyle we work hard but definately make sure to enjoy ourselves.
What we expect from Worldpackers is that when work is required we do it and do it well.
On our party weekends meals are all covered if on shift but weekday volunteers would have to provide their own food.
Daily activities can vary from day to day but we plan the each week to allow for either morning work which leaves the afternoon open or else the morning off with the afternoon for work.
Generally a work day is very flexible and once the tasks required are completed we are happy and want staff to enjoy the surrounding beaches, walks and the lodge itself.
The only thing we ask is for respect towards customers and between staff - We have created a fun and pleasant place to work and live want it to be enjoyable for everyone who comes to visit whether a guest or staff.
