We are a couple from The Netherlands and moved to Austria 10 years ago. We have a big house (upto 76 beds) that offer Holidays for Groups. Schoolgroups, Groups for Children in Need, Sportgroups etc. In this period of time we need to refresh everything again for the new season. So think about allot of painting, maybe some repairs. We also started a new project where we could might help a hand with in rebuilding.

I had an amazing experience at the hostel!! It was a great introduction into volunteering, and both the hosts and other volunteers were so welcoming and fun! If you're looking for a good way to enjoy Austria at your own pace, I definitely recommend this experience , as cleaning only occurred like 1-2 times a week, so I had plenty of time to travel to the surrounding cities and mountains. Would 100% recommend!! Thank you Marc and Anika for your hospitality and this amazing opportunity!!

Without a doubt, the absolute best volunteering experience of my life! Anika and Mark are the most amazing hosts. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart for making me feel so at home, sharing meals with us, give us the recommendations for visit and lending your bikes! The room was super comfortable, tasks were light, and I loved every moment here sharing with the other volunteers. I stayed 10 days, but wished it were a month! I completely fell in love with Mauterndorf and can't wait to return. If you're hesitating, don't—this is the best spot ever! Thank you, Mark & Anika! ❤️

I'm very grateful to Anika and Mark for the warm welcome, for helping me understand the culture of this country, and for their tips during my trip. They are very hospitable people, and the work is very easy and not demanding at all. I've met many volunteers here from Latin America and the USA. I'm really happy to be here. My experience at the hostel was marvellous! Anika and Marc want you to have the most of the experience. They will give you tips about Lungau's places to visit and it will be breathtaking . Anytime you message them, they reply you right away. Your room will be comfortable, quiet and beautiful. I truly recommend this experience for everyone who wants to escape from the city, exploring its nature and mountains. They also respect your hours, privacy and you'll always feel safe. I hope to come back soon to visit and I already miss Mauterndorf, Anika, Marc and Tommy!

Unfortunately I had to stay less than I originally planned but had a nice experience. Anika and Marc are really hardworking and fun. Also they are very welcoming. Shared the food and great conversations. Space for living/sleeping really great as well.
