La experiencia

Hi! Although some hostels in San Francisco are still closed, we are still open with the help of amazing volunteers! The hostel is a bit slower than usual so the vibe is quieter than it usually is. However, you'll still meet some adventurous travelers. We provide a bunk in a dorm room, free wifi, basic breakfast, basic dinner ingredients, and lots of fun in return for only 25 hours a week of help!

Programa detallado

We start everyone off with housekeeping which is 6 4-hour shifts and then depending on the needs you will move to reception. We ask for 25 hours a week which includes a short weekly meeting (and meal), cooking a family meal once a week, and then the fun stuff which is running the activities and getting to know the guests better and showing them a great time! You get a comfy bed in return and access to breakfast and dinner supplies along with free wifi and laundry facilities.

Actividades & Turnos

Everyone starts on housekeeping and then will move to reception as/if needed. We ask everyone to choose one activity to run which is really fun and can be something that you enjoy. We work hard, but we are also a family, we look after each other and we have fun! You get training for your tasks and we'll always answer any questions you have.

We do not accept people traveling to the USA on a tourist/ESTA visa as that does not allow for work permit.
