Tuve una semana increíble aquí, tanto que volví y me quedé para hacer voluntariado por más tiempo. Angelika realmente se preocupa por todos, incluidos los voluntarios y los huéspedes. Tuve un tiempo maravilloso y relajado en esta experiencia, estoy muy agradecido con Angelika y Eleni, ellas brindan un espacio amable y cómodo para sus voluntarios! :) El trabajo es solo por las tardes a partir de las 5, para asegurarse de que lleguen los check-ins y socializar con personas de fuera. Es todos los días a menos que trabajes horas extra, y entonces tienes un día libre. El albergue es pequeño pero tienes la oportunidad de conocer gente de todo el mundo. Recomiendo esto a cualquiera que busque una experiencia de albergue relajante, y experimentar el increíble Chania, una ciudad encantadora con mucho por hacer. Estoy agradecido, gracias :)

Mi corazón está para siempre en el hostal. La rutina era realmente relajada y hablar con la gente era una de las tareas principales, que me encantaron y que hizo que fuera mucho más divertido. Angelikki y Eleni son personas increíbles, muy abiertas a la conversación y fueron tan atentos durante mi estancia. Como locales, compartieron los consejos más valiosos y Angelikki me mostró algunas gemas hermosas de Creta. La ubicación del hostal es simplemente perfecta, vas a hacer un montón de recuerdos en la calle más hermosa de Chania.

I can't even describe with words how amazing this experience was. I will miss Angelika, Eleni, and of course Chania, so much! I definitely recommend this opportunity — it was my first time doing something like this and honestly, I loved it. I felt at home, met so many people from around the world, and was never lonely. I went on amazing tours for free, and the work is super chill. There are lots of beaches nearby and many beautiful places to visit. Angelika is super flexible, caring, and lovely. If you have the opportunity to do this, don't hesitate, go!

I had a great experience volunteering at the hostel! I worked 5-10pm everyday and got 1 day off a week! Angelika was a great host and provided ingredients that I needed for breakfast + a bit more :) I got to go on a free tour on one of my days off which was a great experience! Angelika and Eleni treat you like family and I enjoyed chatting to and getting to know both of them!

Angelika, Eleni, and Chrisandy, all I can say is THANK YOU! You truly spoiled me during this experience and made me feel so loved and welcomed! This experience never felt like work, it felt like helping out family. I "worked" from 5–9 each evening, checking in and chatting with guests, helping Angelika with some design work and promoting the tours,which were incredible! We went to some of the big touristy beaches, but Angelika also took me to a quieter beach with her daughter just for a fun day out. She never felt like a boss or a host! I even stayed after my shifts just to chat with her!

I have no words to describe this experience! It was absolutely amazing, I fell in love with the culture, the people and the vibes. The tasks were very easy and schedules respected, talking and meeting people was always fun and never felt like work! Aggeliki, her family and Eleni became my family there, always considerate and caring! I had the best time in Chania, thanks to Aggeliki, her passion for her job and patience I got to visit Crete and to really enjoy Greek culture! It was definitely an unforgettable experience!!

I had the best time at the hostel and I would totally recommend it to everyone! 🫶🏻 The work is super easy and doesn't really feel like work. There is a lot of time to explore the hostel and surroundings and have great conversations with people from all over the world. Angelika is the best, I felt very welcomed and very well taken care of! Would love to come back, thanks for the great time. :)
