Working on the farm was a very rewarding experience. I felt truly immersed in Nepali culture and the hosts were very welcoming and informative! The farm is in a beautiful location and the work was very fulfilling. We learnt how to make Nepali food and tea aswell as practising the language!! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would recommend it to anyone who loves permaculture and immersing yourselves with local communities.

Fue genial haber tenido a Alice en la granja. Ella es una trabajadora muy dedicada y muy curiosa, conocedora e interesada en la naturaleza. Sus muchas experiencias previas de voluntariado nos enseñaron mucho y su carácter sociable y amable encajó a la perfección en nuestra granja.

We really enjoyed our time at the the farm! Our hosts Deepa and Thomas were super nice and really made sure we had a good time during our stay. Deepa made sure our bellies were full with delicious Dal Baht and other snacks. We also got tea and coffee daily. The farm itself is beautiful, surrounded by hills and some other local farms. The work was 5h/day as agreed upon and we got a good break at the hottest part of the day. It was really interesting to see how a coffee farm works and how local people live in these rather remote areas. I can only recommend this experience!

I was not able to stay long due to a family emergency. During the monsoon months the main job to do is pulling out weeds and grass; so if you're looking to learn about planting and cultivation, I would recommend you go in a different season. Dipa and her brother are both very friendly and will make your stay at the farm extremely comfortable.

Gracias por la reseña. Rebeca se quedó con nosotros durante 3 días en julio. Lamentablemente tuvo que regresar rápidamente a su país. Durante los días que estuvo con nosotros, nos dejó una muy buena impresión. Ella era amable, simpática y asumió las tareas, aparentemente con un entusiasmo positivo.
P.D. sobre la temporada de lluvias, de junio a agosto gran parte del trabajo consiste en deshierbar y cortar la hierba. Estos meses crecen rápido y, a veces, necesitamos trabajar continuamente para mantener el ritmo. Los voluntarios pueden aprender a usar una hoz y a convertir las hierbas y los recortes de hierba en compost. Es un trabajo duro y nos ajustamos según la capacidad de los voluntarios. El compost es fundamental para el cultivo de las plantas y para la granja orgánica. El 90% de nuestro suministro se inicia durante estos meses.
También hay muchos otros trabajos para voluntarios, como mantenimiento del invernadero, cuidado de las plantas, inspección de plantas, investigación.
