Biloba organic

Nestled within a secluded mountain valley, in small village, surrounded by fields, forests, birds and wildlife.

We provide a friendly environment to learn about regenerative farming while immersed in traditional Nepali village lifestyle.

There are plenty of chances to contribute and share your skills in interesting development projects around the farm. Our specialty crop is coffee.
But you'll also find varieties of citrus fruits , guava, nepal hug plum, mulberry, tibetian pepper, black cardamom, herbs and many more. A great variety of native trees

Opportunity for great travel experiences in rural Nepal. There are many village tours, mountain hikes, Buddhist and Hindu cultural sites and surreal views of the Himalayas.

We are a group of motivated people, Deepa and Thomas, Ama, Nana, Mangale and Dinesh, who love farming and want to make positive changes in our surrounding villages by permaculture farming As a volunteer you will be treated like a family member and valued guest. We take pride in building a good relationship with our volunteers and providing a fun mutual learning and cultural exchange. We provide varied, fresh and organic foods from our own garden or local sources. We love to serve coffee, herbal teas and hibiscus that are grown on the farm as well! P.S MONSOON - JUNE, JULY, AUGUST the rainy season is a wonderful season with much greenery but note that the work will be mostly grass cutting, weeding and compost making. Grass cutting can be hard work but also meditative and rewarding.

This is my first Worldpackers experience and I am grateful that it turned out wonderful! Everyone on the farm was friendly and they made sure that the volunteers are doing okay. Some tasks include gardening, cleaning and building. There was plenty of time for us to recharge. On our off day we went on a day-hike. As a Muslim I was given the vegetarian meal option which was tasty especially the omelette! I miss everyone on the farm and I hope to come back again soon :)

Working at Biloba was one of the greatest experiences ever. From the moment we got there I felt so welcomed and happy. The food was incredible, the accommodation was comfortable, and the whole team at Biloba was friendly, fun, and had so much to teach. I feel I learned so much about the process of growing coffee and just what it takes to run a farm like this. The work was sometimes tiring and hard but it felt so rewarding to be a part of growing coffee. I loved Biloba and miss it so much and would highly recommend volunteering here to anyone, you won’t regret it.

My partner and I’s stay at Biloba was unforgettable! By the end of our three weeks there, we felt like we were leaving our home away from home :) We got to learn so much about the coffee growing process and get to be a part of it as well! The work was as agreed upon, some days it was pretty physical, and others it was more relaxed! The food, coffee, and tea were all incredible! A special thank you to Dipa for making us feel so welcomed and appreciated from the moment we arrived! And Nana, Ama, Thomas, Dinesh, Mongale, Bishal, we will miss you all! But we’ll be back again one day :)

Cara stayed with us for 3 weeks and tried her hands at many different farm tasks, from compost making to coffee picking and sorting. She did all the work with curious determination and performed all task perfectly. She is a quick learner and very sociable, integrated very well in our community. A perfect match with us!

This was a truly beautiful expérience for me ! I left with my heart filled with peace and joy ! Biloba farm is a very welcoming place for everybody, you are sure to be well taking care of. Nature wise the location is beautiful, and so much work goes to their garden which makes it a pleasure to work there. Dont hesitate to ask questions and for explainations to understand the work you are doing, it is very interesting to learn about the plants and the way everything is haddled. After a few days you will feel at home : )
It is a great place as well to learn some Nepali and local traditions !

Josephine are a dedicated volunteer. She impressed us with her friendly, very proactive and helpful approach. Adjusting very quickly into our environment. She participated in more work than we expect from a volunteer. We all had a great time together. An excellent exchange in every way! Also big thanks for your valuable suggestions.

We had a great time helping at Biloba, learning about coffee, seeing the Himalayas on a great hike, and hanging with other volunteers. The Biloba team is so friendly, funny, and welcoming. The program is very well managed with clear signage, instructions, and scheduling, making settling in here super easy! Plus(!!!), all the work is meaningful to the farm. Highly recommend!!

Bistali+best wishes to Biloba from J & L of the Kishan Team!

Tips: If you like ++protein, you can buy extra eggs in town. Also, don’t forget to buy beans from ‘Deepa’s Shop’ to bring back for family/friends/yourself! ;)
