The most incredible volunteering experience!!! This place is perfect for getting to know locals, learning so much about Indonesian culture, and making a true social impact. Bu Ida and Pak Zam are the most lovely couple with the most generous hearts and made me feel like family the moment I stepped foot on KS. The students and teachers invited me to so many fun events from playing bad minton to eating at Warungs and I made some lifelong friendships with so many people here. I genuinely felt apart of the KS family and am really sad to leave. I'm even coming back next year! Highly recommend!!!! ❤

My time at the school Sinao was truly life-changing. Bu Ida is one of the kindest people I've ever met, dedicating her time and home to helping others. The house is simple, but full of love, and you instantly feel like family. The students are adorable, and the volunteer hours are fair. I even got to attend a beautiful wedding! the school Sinao became a second home, and I miss everyone already. Highly recommend this meaningful experience!

I truly enjoyed my experience teaching English to children—they were incredibly motivated, and I've never seen kids with such big, genuine smiles. The family I stayed with took great care of me, offering delicious meals and making me feel right at home. In my free time, they were so thoughtful and proactive, always suggesting activities and helping me explore their beautiful country. This was one of my first experiences like this, and it's definitely one of the best I've ever had.

Amazing volunteering, is a project with social mission, with beautiful values and dedicated people working to bring opportunities to everybody in the community. You get involved in the school family and they make you feel at home. Everything is clear regarding to duties and all the promises are fulfilled. Working with young people gave me the opportunity to inspire with my history and teach about my culture, while I was learning about Indonesian culture. Was a short time but very valuable. A small detail is the house is not very clean, I decided to help Ida as she is very busy.

Super recommended, Ida and Roni are charming, as are all the people around them. They were very attentive to making sure I felt good and rested. I was surrounded by really kind and wonderful people. The English classes are very fun and easy for people to learn. faster, you can share free time visiting the market, and then eating together, a truly immersive and unforgettable experience to get to know Indonesian culture, thank you very much, I hope you can visit Spain one day

Ida and Roni are excellent hosts. I got to meet so many wonderful kids during my stay. I am missing them so much already. The place was tough to adjust to for me, due to being a light sleeper and new to travel, but they were very kind, empathetic and helpful.

If you want to fully immerse yourself in the local culture, this is the perfect place for you! You will find amazing people with a good heart, welcoming, kind and friendly. Ida prepared for me all the typical Indonesian dishes possible (vegetarian). Also she bought a lot of fruit and sweet food because she knew I loved it:) you will leave the place with the feeling of having a second family there. The students are eager to learn more about your culture and language knowledge!

I have absolutely loved my time volunteering here. The host and the whole family are amazing. They are very welcoming, friendly, generous, caring and kind. I couldn't sing their praises enough. They will help immerse you into the local culture by helping you try all the Indonesia food, taking you to events, talking to you about Indonesia and their lives and just generally showing you around. The students you will teach are very respectful and are keen to learn. The teaching is very relaxed and there's no pressure put on you.
