Had a wonderful time at the guest house! The guest house has a really nice vibe, and the work/tasks were straightforward and quite enjoyable, especially when working outside in the sunshine. Ipsos, a short walk away, has plenty to do including restaurants and cafes, and a beach with fantastic views across to Albania. However, to fully experience and explore the island, I would recommend hiring a car and driving to the quieter beaches and tavernas not normally accessible via public transport. Thank you to Jules for being such a fantastic host!

You're going to love this guesthouse and Jules is the absolute best. She's a genuine person who was very welcoming and kind. The island of Corfu is beautiful but the real charm is the people. I had a wonderful volunteer experience here and you will too.

My stay in the guest house has been great. Julie is so fun, the place is so cozy and pretty. Work is easy and enjoyable. It is a most far and good exchange. Besides it has been super fun, jam nights filled with great music and Corfu is a beautiful Island. Will miss being here and the people I have met. Julie and Dalida are such sweethearts. Hope to see them again!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I really wasn't sure what to expect going into it, but my expectations were exceeded! Jules is so welcoming and kind, and the area is beyond beautiful. There's plenty to do in Ipsos, but so many other places you can visit on the island by bus as well. The work was never anything very difficult & always fair, and Jules was so kind to work with me on some of the scheduling to allow me to get the most of my time here. I'm so sad to leave but so happy I had this experience. Definitely plan to return next summer!

I have been exited to leave a review for Julie and the guest house since the day I arrived in Corfu. First of all, Ipsos is an incredible town and I really felt at home and welcomed by the locals here. Julie was very reasonable with her work and the tasks were simple and straight-forward. I worked alongside one other amazing volunteer which was really nice to have an integrated friend upon arrival. Julie is so funny and inclusive. She invited us to hangout with her during our free-time and I had a private comfortable large room. This was the best first worldpackers experience I could have ever had!

Julie is creating a wonderful guesthouse in a beautiful part of corfu, very close to the beach. I really enjoyed helping bring the place together, there was a good variety of jobs to do and Julie gave me flexibility to work on the projects I really enjoyed. A real highlight for me was meeting the other travellers and spending time exploring the island. It was also wonderful to have my own room to relax in throughout the stay. I loved it so much I ended up extending my stay! Definitely recommend, and I can only imagine how great it will be once finished!!

The two weeks I spent with Julie were very peaceful. I worked three hours a day helping with the garden, painting and talking with Julie about travels, spirituality... Julie was very helpful after a bad adventure I've been through right before I come to Corfu. She helped me finding a job and was okay for me to stay as long as I needed. If you're looking for a place to volunteer in Corfu, you found it !

The guesthouse is pretty nice and quite. The volunteer job is quite too, just clean and iron sheets, wet the plants and do some check ins. You will have a private room and toilet which is really nice! The guesthouse is in Ipsos, nice beach almost in the north of the Island, you should travel around 40 minutes to go to the town. Julie is a very nice person. She is flexible with the shifts if you want to change or manage it with other volunteer Also she is an amazing singer and Wednesdays in the open mic, for sure you will have a great time. Thanks Julie for the opportunity!

The moment I arrived, I felt that the trust I had placed in Julie as a Worldpackers host had been breached -- as I raised with her during my stay, she told me that my room was the same as in the pictures on Worldpackers. This was patently untrue: the room was run down, had a single bed instead of a double, and had no fridge or kettle. Julie did not offer a meaningful resolution to this issue, and I felt it necessary to leave early, and without notifying her beforehand, as I did not feel comfortable to inform her in advance. I truly would not recommend this experience to anyone.
