La familia del hogar es increíblemente acogedora y me hizo sentir como en casa. Los hijos adultos de Mirian y Ringo, Seba (Sebastian) y Vero (Veronica), y Mirian hablan inglés y español. Tuve una habitación privada y cómoda y compartí el baño del piso superior con Seba. Mirian y Vero me ayudaron a planear actividades divertidas como hacer kayak y visitar los Humedales del Iberá. Enseñar en la escuela fue extremadamente gratificante; realmente lo disfruté. Mi experiencia en Goya fue increíble. Miriam y su familia fueron increíblemente acogedores y muy dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. En cuanto a la enseñanza, cada estudiante que enseñé estaba ansioso por aprender e intentar mantener una conversación conmigo. El instituto es un proyecto tan brillante, y lo que más admiro es el impulso constante para mejorar los métodos de enseñanza para que sean lo más cómodos y eficaces posible para los estudiantes. ¡Recomiendo totalmente a los viajeros que pasen por allí, realmente vale la pena!

Pasé 2 semanas en una casa familiar llena de risas y amor. El tiempo en el instituto fue muy flexible y gratificante. Si buscas sumergirte en la vida argentina y conocer a personas locales, te recomendaría encarecidamente esta experiencia.

Nos encantó nuestro tiempo con Mirian y su familia, y estamos muy agradecidos por las dos semanas que pasamos con ellos. Nos sentimos tan bienvenidos y apreciados desde el momento en que llegamos, el trabajo fue flexible, y la casa en sí fue encantadora. Mirian es increíblemente amable y generosa; no solo con nosotros como voluntarios sino con el tiempo y el cuidado que ella dedica a los estudiantes del instituto. Ella y todos los maravillosos maestros son tan increíbles! Nos encantó participar en las clases de inglés; charlar con los estudiantes y compartir conocimientos con ellos cada día. Gracias por habernos recibido, ¡los extrañaremos a todos! xx

It is amazing how you can sometimes travel to the other part of the world and meet such like-minded people. We could talk for hours in English and Spanish even though my level of Spanish hardly reaches B1. It is amazing to see such a friendly and coherent family, so devoted to their institute, their mission. And also it was such a pleasure to see the faces of the students, who regardless of the financial hardships the country is facing, still have time and resources for education and self development. I am truly blessed to have had this experience as my first volunteering!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the family was incredibly kind and welcoming for the whole stay. While working at the english institute every teacher there was very enthusiastic and excited to teach and learn english. Our accommodation was also very nice, we had a private room and bathroom with ac that worked effectively. They cooked every meal for us and accommodated for our vegetarianism. I very much recommend applying!

Our stay here was amazing! They are the kindest most welcoming and loving family with the cutest dogs and cat🥰🥰The english institute we helped at is wonderful, Miriam and Vero work so hard and are amazing at what they do. The accomodation they gave us was very nice, with our own bathroom and much needed AC😂Even though they weren't vegetarian themselves, they would cook us veggie food everyday and we learnt lots of new recipes😋They became family to us and we are so grateful for this experience ❤️❤️

This experience changed the course of my life. The family is so incredibly lovely and warm and truly made me feel comfortable and like I was part of the family. I learned so much about teaching English and am now pursuing a career in teaching. I am so grateful for this opportunity to meet Goya, this family, and the students. I recommend this volunteer opportunity to anyone with a passion for sharing language and culture

We stayed with Miriam, Vero and Ringo for 10 days at their lovely house. They are the most kind hearted family I've ever come across. They make you feel so welcome and part of the family. During our time we visited 3 different schools where Miriam works at. This was an amazing experience as all the schools are different and we spent time learning how Miriam and Vero teach their students. We also spent time meeting all the students and involving ourselves into the lessons. This was an unforgettable experience. They really treated us so well with amazing food and company.
