Fulfilling our aim of being of service to others - through cherishing people by helping in the World Peace Cafe- barista work, helping in the kitchen preparing food and in our Air B and B. The Air B and B work is the main work helping clean the rooms, ironing and laundry. Cooking for the community (8+) experience of cooking for larger groups and barista work is essential. Great experience! I truly felt at home during my stay. The nuns who live at the project Center are amazing—kind, welcoming, flexible, and always cheerful. Their warmth and sense of humor created a peaceful and friendly atmosphere that made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a meaningful and enriching stay.

My time here was truly lovely! Felt very welcome from the beginning. The people here are kind, generous and create a very warm atmosphere ;) I'm very grateful to Dragden and all the residents and volunteers for their hospitality and kindness during my stay. My tasks were simple and enjoyable! I love cooking, and sharing my meals with others, so it was very special! The location of the center is also amazing, close to the city center and with beautiful surroundings and lots of things to do nearby! I would definitely recommend this experience, and hope to come back someday ;)

It's quite a lovely place the KMC. It's wonderful Buddhist center, the nuns are lovely and kind. The neighborhood is very cute, central with loads of stores and bars around the center which sits in front of a the most beautiful park. I highly recommend this volunteership. You can learn a little bit about yourself and rest and focus your mind while learning a bit about Buddhism. Lovely place.

I can't recommend this opportunity enough. The center is located right outside of the busier part of the project but it's not too far removed. It's right across from a wonderful park that leads into a whole series of beautiful parks with loads of trails to explore! Dragden and the other nuns were totally lovely and made my stay feel very calm and peaceful. The work was simple and not physically demanding and I found I had plenty of time to go walk and explore outside of volunteering hours. I was able to sit in on a couple the project sessions that were lovely. I would definitely recommend!
