Trabajar como voluntario en el lodge fue una experiencia verdaderamente mágica. Rodeado por la selva amazónica y contribuyendo a hacer que el lugar fuera aún más especial, tuve la oportunidad de desconectarme por completo del mundo exterior. Experiencia, en general, positiva. Se encuentra en un lugar increíble; el bosque y las instalaciones disponibles son excelentes y acogedoras (aparte de la cocina, que versa en condiciones higiénicas discutibles). El trabajo y los horarios se han respetado mucho y hay mucho tiempo libre para poder descubrir el bosque y las comunidades de los alrededores.
Personalmente he encontrado un poco difíciles las relaciones con los anfitriones. En conjunto ha sido una buena experiencia en lo que respecta a estar en el bosque, no tanto por las relaciones humanas.

Spending a month in the jungle was a truly transformative experience. I learned so much about plants, animals, and the natural world, becoming a part of the jungle itself. Manuel was an incredible teacher—his knowledge of cooking, jungle behavior, and plant life was invaluable. The tasks were easy yet fulfilling, the food was delicious, and the company was fantastic. Every day felt like an adventure, and I left with a deep appreciation for the jungle and the wisdom it holds. Highly recommend this experience to anyone seeking connection with nature and a new way of living!

Life at the lodge is very different to what most people are used to, but that's what makes it special. It is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the jungle and with nature. The people at the lodge are extremely welcoming and considerate. I only speak English and they made sure I knew what was going on and made me feel included. The work is difficult but engaging, and your afternoons are yours to do what you please. My advice for future volunteers is to bring quick drying clothing and some soap, and to bring plenty of protection against mosquitos. Overall I had a wonderful experience here.
