We spent three weeks with Abraham at the foundation and I just can recommend this experience. From day 1 we felt at home, Abraham and his family gave us everything we needed. At the foundation we had the chance to teach children (5 to 10 years old) English and maths. The resources of the foundation are limited, therefore we could interact a lot and improve the situation of the children. We could also discover Jinja and the surroundings in the afternoon or on the weekend. If you want to have a real impact in a community that needs a lot of help I definitely recommend the organization.

Our time at the foundation was one in a lifetime experience. Abraham and his family were great hosts and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. We spent 3 weeks teaching English and Math to the kids, and it was great that each of us had one group so we could create a nice relation with the them and teach them what we could because they need the attention and better education. The best part of it was the love of the kids 🥰. Our time with Abraham was great and we truly appreciate what he does for these amazing souls 💜

My experience with Abraham as my host was unforgettable. From the start, I felt welcomed by him and the entire community. Abraham was understanding, supportive, and flexible, which made adjusting to a new culture much easier. I learned a lot about local life, explored Jinja, and tried traditional foods. Spending time with the kids was especially meaningful—they were kind, respectful, and eager to learn. What stood out most was the mission of the community, which is deeply rooted in Christ and shown through love, unity, and service.

My experience in Uganda was truly meaningful and memorable. Working with the children was especially rewarding, as I could see the real impact of my contribution and how even small efforts can make a difference in their daily lives. Abraham and his family were kind and welcoming, and I loved discovering the local culture. The organization is small, so expect a less structured experience and some moments of loneliness, with few opportunities to meet other volunteers. However, with an open mind and realistic expectations, it can be a rewarding experience that leaves you with beautiful memories.

Loved my stay at the organization. From the moment I got there to the moment I left, it was a warm and inviting environment. A true home away from home. Abraham was a wonderful host and has become a dear friend. Its such a beautiful blessing to see the light of Christ shining in their community. 🙏 The endearing children and welcoming atmosphere was just one of the amazing reasons I hope to be back soon. ✈️ It was so lovely to be involved in the mission to encourage and uplift those around them, both in the community as a whole, as well as the children and single moms.💜 So greatful.
