Esta experiencia fue realmente una de las más maravillosas de mi vida. Aprendí mucho sobre la cultura de Chiloé y tuve la oportunidad de conectar con muchas personas locales. Cristián fue un anfitrión increíble—muy amable, acogedor y siempre atento a mis necesidades. El trabajo es divertido y fácil de hacer, y te ayuda a desarrollar tus habilidades de comunicación, sin dejar de darte mucho tiempo para explorar la ciudad y su gente. Recomendaría encarecidamente esta experiencia a cualquiera que realmente quiera conocer Chiloé y vivirla desde dentro.

I would 100% recommend this experience to absolutely EVERYONE! Helping to translate on cool adventures (hiking, kayaking, and seeing penguins) was not only SO MUCH FUN, but incredible practice for language comprehension. I couldn't be happier and more grateful for my first volunteer experience to be with Cristian and the host. The two weeks I've spent here allowed for full immersion of Spanish, new skills helping Cristian with the transformation of his business, and being able to explore Chiloé in the most incredible way I could image! Thank you so much for the stay, I'll be back!!
