This experience was truly one of the most wonderful of my life. I learned so much about Chiloé’s culture and had the opportunity to connect with many locals. Cristián was an incredible host—very kind, welcoming, and always attentive to my needs. The work is fun and easy to do, and it helps you develop your communication skills while still giving you plenty of time to explore the city and its people. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who genuinely wants to get to know Chiloé and live it from the inside.

I would 100% recommend this experience to absolutely EVERYONE! Helping to translate on cool adventures (hiking, kayaking, and seeing penguins) was not only SO MUCH FUN, but incredible practice for language comprehension. I couldn't be happier and more grateful for my first volunteer experience to be with Cristian and the host. The two weeks I've spent here allowed for full immersion of Spanish, new skills helping Cristian with the transformation of his business, and being able to explore Chiloé in the most incredible way I could image! Thank you so much for the stay, I'll be back!!
