I recommend this work exchange if you are looking for a very chilled and quiet environment. The facilites are up to date and are kept super clean throughout the day. The work straight forward and hours are respected, not to mention very short! I was there during the low season so it was just myself and one other volunteer who I got on so well with! I had a wonderful time working with the managers and other staff as well. Thanks so much Yann and Tommy for this experience!

First and Foremost, I would like to say a huge thank you to all of the amazing team. Every member was inviting, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed getting to know the team, as well as my fellow volunteer! The location is excellent. The hostel is in close proximity to a huge shopping centre, many restaurants/cafes and museums. The working hours were respected, the tasks were manageable and there was always somebody around to help you if you needed it. In terms of facilities, there were plenty of bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and a spacious staff dorm.

A quiet, clean hostel with a small and friendly team. The hours are VERY good and the tasks are fairly simple once you get into the routine. The staff check up on you and things feel well organised. I feel beyond lucky to have found such a nice spot with such lovely people :)

The hostel is a wonderful place to da work exchange if you plan to stay in Edinburgh! I stayed here many times as a guest and it led to my decision to volunteer. The team is nice, communicative and patient with new learners. They respect the minimal time commitment and the tasks are well outlined. I would highly recommend this to anybody who wants to volunteer in a clean, well-managed and supportive work exchange right in the heart of the city!
