we are located in a peaceful town in the center of Portugal, very close to Tomar. we need help to create a farm environment :) We have a mission to make the most of this amazing land we have. We are looking for someone that KNOWS about PERMACULTURE/GARDENING/FARMING and has MAINTENANCE/WOOD BUILDING SKILLS. This work is mostly outdoors. Marketing skills are also appreciated :) If you have this skills, it will be a pleasure to host you!

My time at the guest housewas truly beautiful. I loved being able to step away from city life for a while and reconnect with nature, silence, and the kind of peace I really needed. From the first day, everything was clear regarding the tasks, and I had a lot of freedom and flexibility with schedules and days off. This allowed me not only to enjoy the place, but also to explore beautiful places in Portugal. But without a doubt, one of the best parts was the people I met. I'm very grateful to Fernanda, Fernando, Diana y Rui for being such amazing host and for making me feel so welcome.

The host family is very very kind and warm, and the accommodation was great with easy main tasks. I also appreciated the chance to join local events. The website says “You are entitled to a free breakfast every day of your stay,” but it was only on days when guests were present. This exception wasn't clearly explained before arrival when I spoke with Diana. Regarding tasks, most communication was with her mother, Fernanda, who does her best as a host. If Diana could support her by checking that tasks are understood and carried out properly, it would enhance the experience for both sides.

Fernanda, Diana, and Fernando are amazing hosts: welcoming, helpful, and attentive. The space is comfortable and beautiful, and breakfast is excellent. They helped my boyfriend with dental issues during our stay. Participating in the village's Christmas market was a fun local experience. Due to a very rainy month, we couldn't help much in the field, so I contributed with social media content and videos. Clearer schedules and defined tasks would have allowed us to contribute more. We stayed for a month and ended up doing mostly online tasks like website and social media work due to the constant rain. The accommodation was comfortable, and we felt welcomed. I had a dental issue during the stay, and they helped with everything, including transportation. That support made a big difference. We also took part in the village Christmas market, which was a highlight. The community was warm and made us feel at home. The only point for improvement is the organization of the tasks, which often felt unclear. Overall, it was a positive experience with genuinely kind people.

Truly an amazing experience! The place is gorgeous with a huge backyard to relax and recharge in. the pool with the view is stunning. The family is so warm and one of the most open/kind hosts i have ever met! ( i did over 15 volunteer places mind you! ) the tasks are straight forward and they give you the flexibility to add your skills to the place. Creating events was a big highlight and fun to collaborate in. The area is peaceful and safe and get a place to yourself or shared depending on the month/season. This place will always hold a special place in my heart, truly grateful to stay here.
