Superbe expérience au sein de l'auberge de jeunesse, qui m'ont accueilli chaleureusement, ont été globalement flexibles pour me donner des jours off consécutifs, malgré quelques couacs de communication. Il y aussi eu des events entre les guests et le staff, l'occasion de sociabiliser ! Les tâches sont simples et accessibles. La ville et sa région sont magnifiques et si vous aimez la nature, la rando ou le vélo, vous ne vous ennuierez pas ! La nourriture est abordable et délicieuse :)) Big up à Nayumi et Futa avec qui j'ai passé d'excellents moments ✨ Mes 2 mois sont passés trop vite !

The hostel's staff is welcoming and always willing to help you. They will advise you on your journey in the hostel and might invite you to discover the surroundings further more. You'll meet local peoples deeply involved in the city life and it's culture. You will have to do cleaning tasks, reception tasks, and will have to organize an event to share a part of your culture with the people of the hostel and the hostel's guests and staff. I had a good time, and would recommend this experience.

I had such a wonderful time volunteering in the hostel&Hostel and would definitely recommend it! The team is amazing and made me feel like home from day one. the hostel is a lovely town and, even though it might seem quiet at first, there's actually a lot to do nearby. The staff also organizes community events and day trips, which are a great way to meet locals and have some really enriching experiences :) The tasks and working hours are fair and straightforward, and the staff are flexible and understanding if you ever need anything. I'm really grateful for this experience! Thank you!

Volunteering at the hostel is a wonderful experience if you are looking for a local experince in the Japanese countryside. the hostel is a lovely town and your fellow staff are super welcoming and helpful. It's a really good place to practice your Japanese, but most of the fellow staff speak english aswell. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Yna, and the hostel overall have been nothing but very kind in my experience! You can always find someone to talk to. You can depend on the english speakers there, but also be pushed to practice your 日本語 with understanding locals while exploring the beautiful city of the hostel. With the work being steady in the mornings and creatively fulfilling in the evenings, shifts being flexible for your travel needs, and the caring coworkers that understand even if you mess up, the hostel is a solid volunteering experience I would recommend to anyone interested.
