Since we have limited resources, we ask for 200PHP / €3-4 to cover basic necessities such as shower water, drinking water, rice, cooking gas, and cooking oil so volunteers don’t have to buy and carry to the island as there is no public transportation to a private island at the moment.

Hi! Before you send a request, please read the full description. Please bear in mind that the island is only as good as the people staying on it. Otherwise, it’s just another piece of land surrounded by water. Albeit, an awesome one! Also, I didn't buy the island. I inherited it. I'm running and funding everything myself so please don't expect a 5-star resort. I won't have a jacuzzi for you. I have lots of baby sharks and corals though. :)

I had such a great time at the host! The place is beautiful, and I felt at home from the moment I arrived. Rex and Ines are amazing host, they made the whole experience really enjoyable. The diving was also incredible. It was an unforgettable experience, and I'm so happy I had the chance to stay here. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for nature, great people, and amazing diving. Thank you for everything!

Mate! Tell you what, you cannot beat this place. Rex and Ines are incredible hosts, super chill, kind, sociable and superb divers! The caretakers are incredibly friendly and their kids will make you forget all the problems you think you had. And if they can't fix things, the dogs certainly will. If you're looking for a luxury, modern island getaway, look elsewhere. the host is rudimentary in the best possible way. It's a simple life, and that's all you need. Will be back for sure!

Ines & Rex are great hosts! They really make sure you feel comfortable and you have a good time. We did 2-3hours of work, which was totally fine. Sleeping in a tent at the beach with the ocean sound was super nice! Most of the time we had dinner all together in the evening and played cards. Diving with both of them was a great experience as well, I could work on my buoyancy, did a nightdive and we had a fun day at the shipwrecks. Can highly recommend the place, if you look for some peaceful nature, diving and lovely people :)

I had the best week on the host, I only wish I could have stayed for longer. The island really is paradise! Rex and Ines were so welcoming, really clear with the tasks and ensured that we were always enjoying ourselves. Whilst I was there Rex did my advanced open water PADI qualifications and he was such a great teacher. I especially enjoyed the wreck diving! On our day off I visited Culion with the other volunteers which was really enjoyable too. This is one of the best volunteering experiences I have had and I couldn't recommend more.

Staying on the host was an experience I will never forget. Rex and Ines were fantastic hosts who communicated well before we arrived and were always around to chat to during the stay. If you are interested in snorkelling or scuba diving, the host is the perfect spot. The island has its own reef which you can explore at your leisure. They also offer scuba diving course, which I completed during my stay, and I can't think of a place I would feel more comfortable diving. To top it off they also have 3 dogs and a puppy in their little island community. I can't recommend this enough - thank you
