Acabo de pasar el mejor verano en el hostal. Reservar un hostal solo para mujeres fue definitivamente las mejores decisiones. Realmente aprecié la forma en que se organizó el trabajo: la carga de trabajo era justa, los gerentes eran flexibles, y teníamos mucha libertad para organizar eventos y crear contenido para las redes sociales. En general, tuve una gran experiencia de voluntariado. La mejor parte fue definitivamente la gente que conocí; hice amigos increíbles con los otros voluntarios, y Ashley y Brandy en la recepción siempre fueron tan amables, acogedoras y serviciales. La carga de trabajo me pareció bastante justa en general, aunque no obtuvimos los dos días de descanso listados en la plataforma, y es posible que ocasionalmente te contacten en tu día libre. Como mujer viajera sola, personalmente no me sentí muy segura en la zona, hubo algunos incidentes de seguridad debido a la ubicación del albergue que me hicieron sentir insegura, especialmente trabajando de noche

I'm incredibly grateful for this experience! This was my first time volunteering with Worldpackers, and everything went so nicely. The female-only hostel environment is amazing, and the team was always kind and communicative. The workload was fair and well-balanced, giving me plenty of free time to explore the city and enjoy my stay. All tasks were clearly explained and easy to manage, and I especially appreciated the creative freedom we had when it came to organizing events and creating content. I had a really lovely experience volunteering here! The work exchange was well-structured with weekly feedback that kept everything clear and organized. I enjoyed being able to suggest and host our own events and also contribute to social media since it was a fun way to be creative and strengthen my event management skills. The volunteers' room was spacious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming. I'm grateful for my time here and would definitely recommend it to other travelers looking for a great work exchange in Amsterdam!

The hostel was my first Worldpackers experience, and I'm glad it was here! The environment of a women-only hostel is what makes this place so special. Everyone was welcoming and friendly from the start, especially Chrystella, Rania, and Jassy, who helped me throughout my time here. I not only made great friends with other volunteers, but also had the chance to meet guests from all over the world. Overall they are very flexible with your work schedule and give you creative input on the events you want to host. I'm grateful for this opportunity, as it will always hold a special place in my heart:D
